Designer information
I started my journey as a floral designer when I was 42 and challenged myself by taking a part-time evening course at Bedford College, Level 1 and 2 Certificate in Design and Craft - Floral Design (Floristry) in 2008 while working full time as a Manager in a well know High Street fashion store.
In 2010 I opened a florist shop and was keen to learn more. I enrolled at Bedford College (Shuttleworth College) and studied a Level 2 Diploma in Floristry passing with a distinction. I was awarded the colleges award of Florist of the Year in 2011.
Continuing with educating myself I enrolled at Bedford College (Shuttleworth College) to study Level 3 Certificate in Floristry in 2012, Level 3 Diploma in Floristry in 2013 and achieved distinctions in both qualifications. I wanted to stretch and challenge myself and am now studying a FdA in Floristry and Floral Art at Myerscough College, Preston and am currently in her second year working towards her level 5 foundation degree.
