Connor decided he wasn’t going to the girls’ apartment empty handed. He grabbed a bottle of wine out of his mini-fridge in his dorm and slipped it into his backpack along with the homework Kasey needed so desperately. Although he never got an answer from Kasey about the pizza, he decided it was a good idea and he swung by a pizza shop on the way to the apartment. With a large cheese pizza in hand and his bookbag on his shoulders, he hit the button that would buzz him up to the apartment. “Hey Kase. Your savior is here.”

Connor was dressed in light washed grey jeans with a navy shirt with thin white stripes. Over top he wore a bomber jacket and on his feet were a pair of black suede derby style shoes. He was nursing a “Sex on the Beach,” a considerably girly drink perhaps, but he loved his vodka and schnapps mixed with various juices. Listening to the girl, he gave a laugh, “Hey, some people can rock the animal prints for real.” His grin spread to his eyes, “Yeah, okay. Let’s do that. I got some moves.” 

Her blonde, flowing hair bounced side to side as she sauntered into the local club. She was wearing one of her many specially designated perfect club outfits, and she had the confidence to rock it. Her blue eyes wandered the crowd, a gentle grin spreading on her lips. It was like the club was her second home, the bouncers knew her, the bartenders knew her, and of course, the dj too. It could’ve been because her dad had owned another club in her hometown, but she just liked to think that her dad might as well had owned that one too. She walked up to the bar and ordered her favorite drink, then tossed her hair over her shoulder as she approached the dance floor. Standing at the edge of it and leaning against the counter that split the bar area from the dance floor, she turned to the nearest person, laughing. “God, it should be illegal for people to dance so horribly at a night club. Plus, look at that girl’s dress. Who even wears cheetah print?” She scoffed. “Care to join me on the dance floor and show these people a thing or two about being the life of the party?”

Kasey: But then that requires effort, which is asking a lot of me.

Kasey: Fine, I'll do it. But You can still come over if you want because Lucy is home.

Connor: Lazy AF.

Connor: Okay, great. I'll be over soon. Do you want me to grab a pizza or something?

   it wasn’t until he had actually placed his hands on the other that he realized that the person he was groping was not the person he thought it was. yet, as the other didn’t seem to mind, he simply rolled with it. ❛ shit !! okay – maybe a lil’ but like, can you blame me ?? i had like — far too many tequila shots, thank you sterling — geez, what’s your name by the way ?? ❜ maxxie had only just recovered from his own joke as the other uttered the very much fitting pick-up line, causing him to practically die out of laughter. ❛ oh my god —- you did not !! you so did not !! that was so fucking smooth, like, honestly, all the fucking awards. and you’re welcome, got it for my birthday. ❜

“Tequila,eh? I’m amazed your clothes aren’t coming off yet.” Connor winked behind his mask, “The name’s Connor. Connor Drew. I’d like to think I’m smooth so it’s nice that you do too.” Connor grinned, “Well, remind me to thank your mother if I ever meet her.”

Connor: I could come over and help, but I'm not sending you answers.

    ‘actually, i read it,’ she replied as a matter of factly. ‘and i’ve never been to a masquerade before, much less expect to go to one in college.’

    ‘by the way, that’s quite the mask, dumbo,’ she said, toying the the trunk of his mask. ‘i think it might just be the most interesting one i’ve seen tonight.’

“I read Les Misérables.” Connor offered, and then with a shrug, “It’s my first time too, and it is kind of a bizarre event to be having in college.” He laughed as she played with his trunk, “Well Cinderella, I always aim to be the most memorable. Sounds like the mission may have been accomplished.”
