what would u consider to be Norman's good ending

A good question! I feel like there's really good cases to be made for both Case Closed and Resignation (Uploaded and Smoking Mirror are both thrown out for obvious reasons, although overall I think Smoking Mirror is the most interesting of his epilogues in several ways.)

Resignation, of course, is kind of a sad ending for him because he's clearly so down about 'failing', but of course with the huge risks that go with the ARI program and the tripto stuff, and then also if you consider all the stuff we know about the cut DLC and all that mess, it easy to say that overall this ending might be best for him. In the long term, it's probably the best for his health physically, mentally, and emotionally, provided he is eventually able to direct his talents toward a different job.

What makes me hesitant to call this his best ending is whether or not he'll actually be able to find something else he likes doing; it really seems that his work gives him a sense of purpose and accomplishment, which is why he takes it so hard when he fails (in both this ending and then even worse in Smoking Mirror.) If he can find that sense of accomplishment somewhere else, then this is probably his best ending. If not, it goes down a rank and Case Closed wins.

Case Closed, on the other hand, has all the trappings of a 'best' ending, except for the ARI issue. What we do know about the whole ARI thing in general is that the tripto really does have a role in mitigating the dangerous side effects (with of course its own dangerous side effects) so continuing to use ARI without it is implied to already be catching up to him in this epilogue with the tank hallucinations. Of course, it's always possible that this isn't permanent damage, that the new line of ARI mentioned to be coming out in Resignation won't have these effects, etc etc but what exactly happens with that is the big things that puts this ending in second place for me. If those issues were taken care of, and Jayden was able to stay in the job he likes, then this would move up to being his 'best' entry.

All of that said, tl;dr my personal interpretation for these epilogues, based only on what we know of canon and meta info without a whole lot of speculation on what-ifs, is that his technical 'best' epilogue is Resignation.
