Enemy mesh and animations

I then imported the mesh and animations into my project and then coded the enemy character to play the animations and be killed when I shoot it

Texturing the boom box ( Making a uv map)
Taking out the uv snap shot from Maya and putting it inside of photoshop. We export the uv map as a png.
I then added our textures to the UV map inside photoshop.
I exported this as a png and went back into maya and added it to a material using the png as the base colour.
This was the final result:

Making the Boom box
This is the finished boom box model without texturing. This was made by....
Started with a cube to make the boom box base
Got another cube, extruded it to make a handle
Used the combine tool to combine the handle to the boom box base

What is a uv map
A uv map is used to texture objects. We did this on the boom boxes we made to add the front on.
Each section on the UV map relates to a face on the model which we can add images to. A clearer example of what a uv map is wrappers on choclates.
A uv map wraps around the models adding the texture of it, just like how the printing on a chocolate Santa wrapper wraps around the chocolate to add the design.
