Why are Caravan Trips getting popular in Australia?
It's a travel experience being adopted by many young couples and families in Australia, who are joining their grey counterparts travelling around the country, on short and extensive trips. In our rapid-paced, digital world there's a longing to reconnect and get back to basics.
Peter Clay, from the Caravan Industry Association of Australia, shared that within the caravan and camping industry, the traditional 30 to 54-year-olds and 55+ age brackets are the highest trip takers, with those groups going on 5.7 million and 3.6 million caravan or camping trips respectively. The number of trips taken by the 20 to 29-year-old age bracket grew by 22 per cent to surpass 2.2 million trips.
"From our perspective, the growth that we're seeing, we haven't seen for many, many years," Mr. Clay informed.
A lot of people think it's all about the grey nomads, but what we see is that the 30 to 54-year-olds are our largest market segment and mostly they are people with kids, younger kids especially.
People are moving back to the easy things in life, linking with people and nature, going hiking or hitting the beach. You have the chance to really be present and experience peace and happiness, which is rather that is tough to do in a normal busy lifestyle.
If you’re inquisitive how long does it take to travel around Australia, then one of the first questions would naturally be: How long is it?
National Highway 1 is a 14,500 km ring road around Australia with a separate section in Tasmania.
It could be done in 2-3 weeks if you really wanted to. Highway 1 is sealed virtually the whole way around: you can drive the whole route by caravan or camper Conqueror Off Road Caravans, Conqueror Off Road Campers, Conqueror Australia, Off Road Camper Australia but the road conditions differ a lot: When it travels through capital cities it can be multi-lane freeways. It goes down to a single lane road in Queensland.
Australia is very big. Darwin to Adelaide is just over 3,000 km. You can drive that gap in less than 2 days if you skip sleeping. Even if you drive 8 hours a day and do not stop to see anything that’s still takes 4 days to cross it.
So, it’s not that you need that much time, it’s just that Australia has A LOT to see. There are some good lists of places to see in Australia in your Conqueror Off Road Caravans, Conqueror Off Road Campers, Conqueror Australia, Off Road Camper Australia.

Best way to enjoy your Holidays
Americans love to travel off-road, the off-road trip, for the folks with four-wheel-drive and a taste for adventure—not to mention dust. Listed below are few off-roading destinations not to miss.
White Rim Trail
The White Rim Trail on the side of Island in the Sky Mesa in Canyonlands National Park. Keep two days to run this Trail, and along the way you'll see Utah's famous sandstone arches, as well as towers, buttes, Indian ruins, and landscapes of the Colorado and Green rivers.
Whipsaw Trail
Whipsaw Trail in British Columbia. Can be confronted in 10-12 hours, but it is recommended to go slow to get in the panorama. With lakes, alpine meadows, and plenty of places to camp, the best way to accomplish this route is at a leisurely place, devoting a day-and-a-half or two to really enjoy the Trail.
El Camino Del Diablo
El Camino Del Diablo—known as "The Devil's Highway"—traverses back to the 16th century, when conquistadores, settlers, missionaries, and miners used it, often on foot. Starting just southwest of Ajo, Arizona, the trail, which stretches mostly along the U.S. & Mexico border, is perfect for high riding 4x4s. Along the way, you will get to see Pinta Sand Dunes, the Pinacate Volcanic Field, and the Tule Mountains.
Magruder Road Corridor
"Primitive one-lane road," "steep and winding," and "snowstorms are possible at any time," are just a few of the phrases used by the U.S. Forest Service to describe this 117-mile Magruder Road Corridor—named for Lloyd Magruder who, along with his party, was murdered on the road in 1863. If you're not prevented by those warnings, you're about to experience some truly wonderful off-road travel. Beginning outside Elk City, Idaho, the corridor needs around two days to traverse, on the way to Darby, Montana. Along the way, you'll be observer to spectacular vistas, lush valleys, and hurrying rivers.
Rubicon Trail
The Rubicon cut down through the El Dorado National Forest as well as the Tahoe National Forest and displays some really challenging terrain. Only expert 4x4s should attempt the trail, and the Rubicon Trail Foundation warns drivers to expect at least a modicum of sheet metal damage. Your best play for completing unharmed is to outfit your rig with a three-inch lift, 33-inch tires, and some rocker guards.
Dalton Highway
The Dalton Highway – also called "The Haul Road" – offers 414 miles of it, as well as tractor-trailers, potholes, and grizzlies, for good measure. If you choose to take this tough route from the Yukon River to Prudhoe Bay, there are some items you'll need to consider. First, Fairbanks, the closest community to the start of the highway, is 70 miles away, so you'll need to stock up there. It is suggested to attempt it in a 4x4 loaded with extra fuel, food, tires, and a trunk filled with supplies.
So, with the hope to inspire you to break away from the pavement, some of the greatest trips were mentioned above. You can make plan and get your Conqueror 4X4 Campers, Conqueror Off Road Campers, Conqueror International, Off Road Camper Trailers, 4X4 Campers, Conqueror Caravan

Where to go for adventure and fun in Australia?
Australia has some of the best off-road driving in the world. There are numbers of outback 4WD routes that lead you through remote deserts, rugged mountain ranges and ribbons of parkland.
Stockton Beach
Stockton Beach is a harbor for sand fanatics. While many of the dunes are steep, so much so that they can only be summited by bending up more gradual slopes nearby, these obstacles only increase the track’s popularity.
Simpson Desert French Line
The French Line is only broad enough for a single vehicle, so it is important to be cautious of oncoming traffic. By flying a dune flag, carrying a radio, beeping a warning signal on dune crests, and keeping aware of your surroundings, head-on collisions are easily avoided. While the trees in this region will not offer much in the way of shade, dried mulga wood makes for brilliant fire fodder. There are also plenty of sites to set-up camp in the flat swaths between dunes.
Hay River
The track can only be accessed by permit to preserve the environment of this most isolated region. This journey presents stunning contrasts in landscape as it passes by the Big Red and Spinifex dunes, on to the Georgina Gidgee and Gypcrete Interdunes, leveling out to the bed of the Hay River and Lake Caroline. As there are no towns along this track, be sure to take gain of the many amenities of Birdsville.
Gunbarrel Highway
Australia’s most rugged off-road tracks, perfect for the experienced off-roader who’s ready to face wash-away and deep corrugations. The track is extremely challenging – its many bore holes, while tempting to a thirsty traveler, are not good to drink. However, there are several bush camps along the way. Places to explore are Yelma Stockyard ruins, summit views from Mount William Lambert, the geologic curiosity of the Gnamma Rock holes and the Gile Weather Station. Before deciding, be sure to acquire permits from Ngaanyatjarra and Central Land Councils.
Victorian High Country and Billy Goats Bluff
The region’s towering peaks display panoramic views as you wind across mountainous ridgelines. There are several deserted mining towns to travel along the way, an expression of off-roading Conqueror Off Road Caravans, Conqueror Off Road Campers, Conqueror Australia, Off Road Camper Australia which presents a fresh perception on the conveniences of modern travel.
Binns Track
It is known for its varied terrain as it routes though mountains, deserts, and vast plains – challenging the hardest tyres with sandy slopes, soft riverbeds, jagged rock, bogs, bitumen, and bulldust. This track gets you through the Simpson Desert to Alice Springs, on to the East MacDonnell Ranges and the fossicking haven of Gemtree.

A trailer is fitted with a swing-out or roll-out kitchen and a tent that opens to the side, front or rear. Set up is required, which differs according to the model and style, but you’re provided with a large undercover area and beautifully, organized space to cook.
CARAVANS
Looking for home-like comforts on an extended trip. A Caravan will be your best companion. Most Caravans comprise a lounge and a dining area, bedroom, and kitchen, which are frequently fixed for hassle-free arrivals at camp. Caravans offer excellent protection against the weather, and they’re easily protected, which makes them excellent for long journey. Many Caravans have independent suspension and drop-on couplings. But due to their wider profile and heavier footprint greater care is required on surging ground and tight tracks, compared to an Off-Road Camper Trailer.
WHAT MAKES OFF ROAD CARAVANS TOUGH?
Over the last few years there has been a big jump in interest for RV’s suitable for the 4×4 market. Most RV companies have an off-road caravan in their range. Be aware, as this doesn’t always mean the van is truly built to handle extended time on rugged tracks. That’s why it can be tough to choose the right product for your 4×4 adventures.

This means before you purchase a van to use on your next 4×4 adventure does your research to make sure it’s equipped with the following features:
Naturally choosing the right van can be somewhat overwhelming, that’s why it’s crucial to choose a maker that has the knowledge in this industry and is ready to answer all your inquiries.

PICKING YOUR NEXT CAMPING SETUPCARAVAN VS. CAMPER TRAILER!
It’s the first question people ask when looking to upgrade their camping setup. There are positives and negatives to each and often it comes down to two things: cost and camping style. There are few key things to consider when trying to decide between a caravan and camper trailer.
Why to choose a caravan?
A caravan is fully self-sufficient; caravans are an ideal option for those looking for comfort, convenience, and ease. Most new caravans contain toilets, showers, kitchens, TV, AC, and heating systems meaning no more walking to the cold caravan park bathrooms at midnight. Being fully self-contained can also be mainly useful if you have kids or are looking to travel in the more extreme climates. With all the comforts of home, caravans mean you’re often more secure from the weather, be it extreme heat, rain, or wind.
Camping is an activity that needs proper planning if you are to enjoy it and one key aspect of this is getting the right gear for the expedition. The main thing you need is a caravan that will shelter you during the trip and offer you a safe place to rest and keep your items safe.
Why to choose a camper trailer?
Camper trailers are the other popular option when looking to upgrade your camping setup. With so much variety available these days, latest and advanced camper trailer designs are popping up every year. With so many offered there is a type of camper trailer for nearly everyone. From pop up, hard-floored styles to soft-floored fold out canvas, to new self-inflating technology, some camper trailers are even made to be just as capable off-road as your 4WD is. Camper trailers allow you to adopt the outdoors whilst still having access to all the creature comforts of home.
Basically, the choice between camper trailer and caravan reaches down to your desired camping experience and your budget. Do you like being organized, having all your amenities within arm’s reach and have a little more money to pay, then a caravan is certainly for you. Otherwise, if you choose the outdoor camping experience and need your camping setup to be able to travel as distantly as you do, you may consider a camper trailer.
Making your own research before visit. Proper research and planning reduce inconveniences and increases fun and excitement.
