Hi! I absolutely adore your mer todoroki design, can i ask about your design process/inspiration for it? Also the koi patterning is litterally so perfect.

Also is there lore behind this au? 👀

i am a creature of habit so i'm slowly redoing the same design since mermay 2020, haha - it's a koi fish for the pattern (because it works on both the japanese culture aspect that is very important to Todoroki as a character + the pattern of the spots that let me integrate his scars as a part of his design) BUT i put a pinch of betta fish for the fin, and a bit of axolotl for the gills around his face! yes there is lore behind the AU! i'll post some stuff
