Je viens de remarquer une différence entre un comportement entre mon éducation "libre" en tant que femme et celle de mon copain d'origine moitié portugaise (par sa mère).

De ce que j'en sais, (je connais mal) l'éducation y est plus "machiste" (a différencier dans ce cas de sexiste). Les hommes protègent. Mais les femmes ne se laissent pas marcher sur les pieds en leurs absence.

Ce qui donne ce que j'ai remarqué hier.

Quand je sors seule, mon copain ne s'inquiète pas pour moi, je suis indépendante et je me débrouille très bien toute seule. Mais hier, où on sortait tous les deux mais où je rentrais quand même seule, il fallait que je lui envoie un message pour dire que j'étais bien rentrée.

Il ne remettait pas en cause ma capacité à me débrouiller seule. Sinon, il me le demanderai à chaque fois que je sors seule.

Il se sentait coupable de ne pas m'accompagner au cas où.

S'il est là, il se sent obligé, de pars son éducation, à me protéger.

Je trouve ça mignon, d'autant plus que, une fois posé comme ça, ça ne remet pas en cause mon autonomie.

J'ai longtemps trouver malaisant le fait de devoir envoyer ce genre de message, sans pouvoir me l'expliquer. Là, j'ai compris la raison, et je vois bien que ce n'était pas parce qu'il me pensait incapable, mais parce qu'il se sentait coupable.

god my neighbor just called me and she’s like… is this your chicken in our driveway… like who else has a chicken in this neighborhood yes it’s my chicken… so i get over there and kylo hen is chilling in their driveway eating some specs and stuff and there’s this actual crowd of people around her and i’m like… hi sorry mb let me get her… and oh my god… they’re like do you need us to call someone?? should we get help?? how should we do this?? do you need a net? like bitch it’s a chicken not a fucking komodo dragon. so i just… i was kind of joking around so i crouched down and patted my thighs and all the chickens are trained to come to me on sight because me = food… so i got down there and went “here girl!! come here!!” and the chicken comes running over and this group of actual adult ass individuals were staring at me like i was the fucking pied piper… and i didn’t know what to say…. so i just kind of walked back to my yard with the chicken following me and none of them moved or said a damn word and i think i literally just convinced them this chicken is trained like a dog…

To everyone with period cramps!

For some of us, it can be linked to your alimentation (apparently, all the "hard to digest" stuff. Your body use this periodic supplemental tool to evacuate and it leads to inflammation)

I'm not saying that it will work with everyone, but apparently, at least the few days before, avoid lactose, bad sugar (the translation from French would be "rafinate sugar" but I don't know if it makes sense in English...) and so on.

I heard about it juste a day before my period and thought about give it a try as I am desperate.

I usually suffer so much that I sometimes faint.

And even a single day gave me some result.

My back still hurts me but it's okay and I almost don't have cramps. I will not have to cancel my evening to suffer at home, and it didn't wake me up in the middle of the night.

I will definitely try to do this for at least 5-7 days before next month. Being free of the pain would be such a release for me, you can't imagine how many party I cancelled because of that, and how much it affects my life and my roommates life (always there for me <3)

And obviously, DRINK WATER! I'm not joking, it help to stay hydrated.
