I kinda think when Vergil and Dante were separated and had their memories erased, both of them had dark hair but as soon as Vergil was 18 he knew he wasn’t human, he wasn’t normal when he sometimes got injured from accidents and when he sometimes was picked on for being smart or even a smartass.

He knew it wasn’t normal to heal really fast like that, also because he was told he was adopted when he finished High School so he wanted to learn about his real parents, hence him looking into it and unlocking his powers where his dark hair faded to be the colour it is now. And also how when he was slowly remembering and was given Yamato by his adopted father saying it was from his real father. 

He was even limbo a few months later where he went through a lot to remember who his parents were, who his older brother was and the race of Nephilhiem as well. But of course, he knew he needed to wear a hat, or something to hide his white hair otherwise he’d be dragged into limbo again.

When growing up with his adopted family, Vergil usually loved to drink Apple Mango Juice, then followed Orange and Tropical Juice. 

Juices with vegetables contained within wasn’t something he was very fond of, but did sometimes drink it as he got older when he wasn’t feeling hungry but needed something in his system to keep him concentrated when doing his homework and assignments in High School.
