Brie,

Merry Christmas, honey bun! Can you believe this is going to be our first Christmas celebrating as a married couple? It’s still hard to believe we finally made it officially official. The fact that I get to call you ‘my wife’ and there’s actually a legal piece of paper that actually gives you the title of being my wife! It’s still so exciting, and it makes me feel all giddy on the inside when I think about it too much. Even writing this now, I can’t stop smiling! You know, I was thinking that we should get a special ornament to decorate the tree with - something that has our names on it and the year. Maybe it could be a little cinnamon bun ornament since you love them so much, but maybe it should be something that symbolizes the both of us. I’m sure we’ll figure it out together!

 I’m looking forward to all of the adventures we’ll go on especially for the new year to come! I know we’ve possibly been thinking about having children together, so I’m looking forward to planning that out with you too! It doesn’t matter which way we decide which route we want to go, you know I’ll be happy with whatever method we choose! You are the brightest star in the sky to me, and I’m so happy to be able to call you my wife and to be able to have and hold you forever.

Winifred has loved you since you were children. Yes, she shared a kiss with Billy. But, knowing she could never put your life in danger by opening up to you, as a witch, she had to make sure everyone believed she was obsessed with him.

Yet, as she and her sisters grew strong and powerful, her longing for you had pierced her heart, and finally she became destitute without you.

So, one night she and her sisters show up on your door step. Her sisters had been your best friends with Winifred, and you had loved to cater to their distinct personalities.

As you obviously remember the three, and haven't seen them in such a long time, you give Winifred a tight hug. This makes her stiffen, yet she hesitantly hugs you back. Looking to her sisters for help as they grimace at the show of affection.... However!

Her behavior is immediately modified when she sees your face, and senses how thrilled you are to see her. 'Are you alright Winnie?' 'Yes. I am.'

Every little thing you say to them tickles their fancies in the most enchanting of ways. You have seen Mary and Sarah laugh and jeer before, but never, NEVER have you seen Winifred Sanderson blush and giggle like a school girl! She was entranced by every word on your lips, and most of them were compliments, so... ego boost.

They secretly stole you away to their home in the night, and showed you around. Winnie was a little anxious about how you'd feel about all the witchcraft that surrounded you, but you were fascinated!

You delicately touched hanging dried flowers and herbs, browsed the shelves that were filled with all sorts of macabre oddities, and when you looked at the book, and the book looked at you, you smiled. So did Winifred.

Soon you would slowly leave your old life behind to join the trio in the woods. You had no magic, but you could still help with mundane chores that magic couldn't do, or would waste unnecessary energy doing. You would also go into town every now and then to fetch things that were needed. The sisters lived off the land most of the time, but you were happy to go and treat them to little luxuries from time to time. The villagers thought you were crazy, or hexed, but you never posed a problem, so they let you be. Though they were wary of you.

Winnie w/ affectionate and supportive s/o

General Headcanons

Request: for @queerpersonified Winnie x Affectionate/supportive/cuddly SO, because she deserves someone who’d love and support her through everything. Part 1 General HC's

-At the beginning of your relationship. Winnie doesn’t know what to do with herself.

-She is a little overwhelmed with all this affection from her s/o. 

-During your friendship, she naturally agreed with all your statements about her amazing self but, as time went on? She became enamoured with how genuine s/o is.

-s/o’s affection does not hide a trick or trap behind the sweet words they say to her. They wish to gain nothing and this confounds Winnie. She is surprised, confused and a little stumped.

-She’s used to people wanting something from her. To put it lightly, they try to butter her up. She agrees with them, knowing she always has the upper hand.

-So, when her s/o comes along and asks for nothing in return? Not power or profit or even any advancement for themselves? It leaves Winnie a bit stunned.

-“Dost thou not demand anything from me? Not even a sliver of the power I possess?” 

-“No, Winnie. I just want to see you smile.” They beamed at her with the power of a thousand suns.

-Deep down, Winnie knows she’s touch starved for this affection. She deeply craves it but loathes to admit it.

-But when S/o holds her hand with no fear or disgust in their eyes, Winnie’s heart jumps like a grasshopper in the spring meadows.

-They make the lightest of touches and the deepest of hugs meaningful. 

-As the relationship progresses, Winnie becomes more comfortable with her doting s/o.

-She actively seeks them out for support and comfort. 

-Winnie can get grumpy and annoyed sometimes if she doesn't succeed at something. Whether it be a failed potion, spell or the general public causing a nuisance for her, she knows she can come to her s/o for warmth and cuddles.

-There are days when Winnie struts in through the door, grabs s/o and steals them away to her bedroom to bury her face in their neck. 

-Cuddles for days. Winnie does love hugs and cuddles. Even, if she doesn’t admit it often.

-Her favourite would be when s/o tries to sneak up on Winnie while she is brewing a potion in the cauldron and hugs her from behind, planting a little kiss on her shoulder. 

-Soft days, reading together on a sofa with the coffee they made together.

-S/o making sure Winnie is warm enough before they settle into the reading zone.

-S/o holds Winnie's hand in public rather proudly and Winnie is, once again, taken aback by how freely they love to be with her when others find her less than pleasant company.

-Winnie does have a temper and no one can change that. S/o however, adores the ruthless fierceness that Winnie presents. If she loses her temper over a simple thing, s/o will place a hand on her shoulder and just say a few comforting words. That usually does the trick. Kind of, like a smaller calming circle.

-If Winnie loses her temper over something significant, s/o will firstly, comfort her and then try to look for logical solutions to her problem. Winnie is deeply grateful for her s/o's input and efforts. Winnie appreciates being helped every so often, despite repeating she can do it herself. most of the time.

-During the hard days, s/o would surprise Winnie with a big fuzzy blanket, tea, snacks and a movie. (once Winnie comes to terms with the advancements in technology) 

-Winnie would love these little events that her s/o would put together. It shows that they care about her.

-Let’s just say S/o would put a pin on that, and make important events like dates extra special.
