I've teased the designs for Ragatha and Jax on a different post on this particular Journey, it's still being conceptualized but here's some more teasers! First the one above being a redraw of a trend but hehe hi it's bunnydoll of course it is (and you can see Jaxs' outfit a teensy weensy bit)

And next-- the evil versions! Intimidating a seemingly hostaged Ragatha for some reason. Yes Evil Gangle exists hurrah. They have actual names-- Evil Ragatha is Rabecca and Evil Gangle is Mangle. They're supposed to be in a rival band/mafia opposite to the troupe. Why Mangle is wrapped around Ragatha, that'll be for future lore dumps to explain :3 for now enjoy these crumbs

Octonauts Heacanons Pt. 3-Full names

-Barnacles- I've stated before that i believe Barnacles is just a nickname for Barnaby, which was a random English name he chose instead of his birth name Sesi. So, to everyone he currently knows his name is Barnaby (meaning 'son of consolation', though it wasn't chosen for meaning) Finnley (the surname he adopted after Bianca's parents took him in. His Inuit name is Sesi (gender-neutral, but more feminine name meaning Snow) Nanuq (directly translates to polar bear) Tungilik (means 'to be brave' which I find fitting for Barnacles). So yeah-Barnaby 'Barnacles' Finnley and Sesi Nanuq Tungilik. I've also said before that Sesi is traditionally a girl's name and that Barnaby was named that by his birth tribe because he's intersex. however, I don't really have that as a headcanon anymore. Instead, I think he has the name Sesi because he was a runt, and female polar bears are typically smaller than males. Also, his parents just thought the name was cute. -Kwazii-

I also already said his full name on my head canons page for him, but it deserves it's own little section. See, I headcanon Kwazii as Wasian-specifically, Cockney on his dad's side and Japanese/Malaysian on his mom's side. Kwazii got his name from Kawaii, the Japanese word for cute; or, more specifically, he got it from his dad's horrible mispronunciation of the word. His mom, a solid fawn-coated munchkin cat named Aina, thought it was so cute that it was deserving of being her son's name. His dad, Calico's jack's son, is named Whiskers. As per Malaysian naming tradition (the middle name is the father's first name), That makes Kwazii's full name Kwazii Whiskers Jack. Fun fact-Kwazii got the saying "shiver me whiskers!" from Calico, who started saying it because whenever his son Whiskers discovered something surprising, he tended to 'shiver' thanks to his long fur. Kwazii's accent is called a cockney accent, and it was present in a lot of Londoner pirates, such as Calico Jack. -Peso-

Peso is latino in my mind, specifically argentinian, because Argentina owns the Falkland Islands-Gentoo penguins exist mostly in the Falkland islands. He got his name from the actual currency. His family named him that out of the hope that he would grow up to be fortunate. His last name is Hielo, a topographic last name for someone who lives near ice. There will be more I promise I've simply run low on my motivation stocks

Headcanon <3 :

I think Agu is a good baker, but CFF is most definitely NOT and actually CANNOT cook to save his life lol. The Captain is more of a 'forage and scavenge' type of guy, most likely having to do with still developing lore about his backstory for my au hehehe . . . Anyways, Agu thought the more fun way to get the Captain into cooking would be baking! But my CFF is a shy and shameful little guy whenever he makes mistakes (very 'beat myself up' about it smh). But no need to worry! Agu is an easy forgiver <3
