My Websites
Doing these website were very difficult because I needed to get all of the pictures the same size, making sure lines were straight and trying to get my logo accurate and in a good place, but suffice to say I’m really glad at how this turned out because I love the color schemes I used and I tried to not make it look like the website was overflowing with unnecessary junk or too many pictures in the second one. I was going to do that at first and have loads of dresses, but just the 3 dresses looks very elegant and simple.

I made this logo using adobe illustrator and used this pen tool to try and draw a curved style of my brand name but it curved to much and didn’t work very well, so I used a wackon pad to draw the letters and it turned out really nice in terms of the look of it and I like that it looks simple yet stylish which is what i was going for. I was searching to find inspiration on creating a specific separate logo but in the end i decided to merge both into one because i didn’t want it to look too much.

My second advert - Poster
I drew this with a pencil for the outline of the body and used a fine liner and sharpie. I got the idea of the pants for the design by searching for different styles of wide-leg pants and I chose to draw the stripped pants because they seemed stylish and I liked the pattern best compared to checkered or just plain colors.
I just drew a simple black blouse because I didn’t want any random color to clash with the pattern of the pants and I made the blouse short-sleeved because I didn’t want it to look too formal, so I preferred something a tinge bit casual and stylish. I then scanned it into the computer from the printer and edited it into Photoshop. I really liked how this turned out and the quote matched really well to represent my branding.
If I could improve this, I would have made the right side of the wide-leg pants identical to the left because I didn’t like the way that it was drawn at an awkward angle and looked too sloppy.

My Instagram Advert
I made this advert by going to take pictures in the photo studio and I used colored pieces of plastic to cover the lights pointing towards my clothing and accessories to give them a nice shade of color and make the shadows more prominent.
These pieces of clothing are originally mine and some of the products like the shoes are actually bought from my main competitor’s store, Long Tall Sally. I love their products and their shoes are so comfortable, so I added them in the photos because they matched really well with the kind of look that I was going for, which was simple but quirky.
I then edited the photos into movie maker and experimented with different animation and font for every photo and added music to the end because I just wanted it to have a good feel to it with a calm beat. I really like how this turned out because I was initially just going to have all the clothes and accessories in one picture and add my logo to it, but this was way better. If i could improve this next time, I would want to have more clothes, accessories and a bit of a variety of blouses and shoes and next time get better angles.

This is my mood board for my business and I chose mostly classy and workwear outfits because I love the difference in colours, embroideries, and styles that you can have from this particular part of women’s wear.
The fabrics I cut out are ranging from silk, Swede, polka dots, stripes and different hues of blues and I chose this mix of fabrics because I definitely wouldn't want my clothing to be dull. I want them to have character and also be as elegant as possible too, but not so much that it can’t be titled as daywear. I also chose some jumpsuits because they seem to be very trendy and can go from being casual to formal very easily because of the specific design and colour, so I went with warm and simple colours for daywear outfits and I like them because they are neutral, yet classy.
I also chose oasis for an example of what daywear fashion might look like because I love the layout of the store and the website is very good too, simple and not to much, that’s how I like it! I also like the different types of prints in their clothing like the flower and stripped designs because they are bright and cheery in a way. I like how their style could be elegant, but you could also wear these on a normal day, and still keep it casual and classy all together.

My Business Plan
My business name is Keke. I wanted to choose that name because I wanted something simple and quirky for my brand and I will be selling women’s daywear. The garments that I will be selling would be blouses, outerwear, accessories, and handbags. My target market is aged 17-35.
My selling environment will be online because most people shop online nowadays and with women’s daywear, it is very accurate to tell the proportion and size of the garment since a lot of the clothing is very simple and somewhat elegant.
My brand would mostly be clothing ranging from formal trousers, blazers, two piece outfits, jumpsuits and more different types of formal wear. The range of colours could be from simple ones like black and white or even tan and blue.
I would either pick Shay Mitchell or Lupita Nyong’o to represent my brand because women's daywear suits them really well. My brand would be reflected by my environment by choosing very warm and simple colours such as creamy white, black and white or even baby blue. Preferably all subtle colours, not too strong.
I would advertise my brand on Instagram because there is a lot of fashion influencers on there who are known to sell online through instgram.
My 3 competitors were Zara, Miss Selfridge and Long Tall Sally. All of these companies have amazing styles and change their clothing embroideries which can be funky and simple at the same time. I love the styles of the website for long tall sally because it shows all the promotions that is going on with them, but it’s not like in your face a bit like Miss Selfridge’s website. I also love the fact that they show you all the latest styles and show you a range of garments and accessories, not just the main trend in store.
Zara also has a very enticing website because it’s definitely not something you see everyday on a website with it’s bold black and white colours and blocks of squares to show you to product more clearly and put emphasis on the details of the garment. It’s not too much because it has all subtle backgrounds and layout.
I can definitely take this into account for my own business because I want that feel for my business, but I don't want to be too bold. I always want to keep changing fabrics and styles of my clothing and always keep up to date with what is on trend.

I really like this blogger for her unique use of warm and subtle colours in her choice of garments. Some can be formal and classy, yet some can be relaxed and casual which I love that she can have a mix of both and still make a good outfit.

Items To Sell In My Business

Cream laced blouse - £30

Green frill blouse - £35

Asymetric ruffle jumpsuit - £60

Black Wide leg trousers with lace loops - £55

Checked wide-leg trousers - £60

Tall striped wide legged trousers - £45

Cream ruffled chiffon blouse - £50
I would sell all these items in my store because they have been put at reasonable prices for their types of fabric and details in the garment. I especially love the different designs of ruffles from all the garments and I had also chosen mostly wide-leg trousers because they look more classy and suitable for daywear. I also love the simplicity yet character that the clothing has because of all the differences in styles, colours, fabrics, cuts and details of the clothing.

Main Competitor

I picked long tall sally as my main competitor because their clothing is mainly women’s daywear and I absolutely love their shoes and clothing. Their brand is a bit of a mix of high street and high brand because most of their pricing would range from £35-£250 and the fabrics used for their designs are very good. With this company, they advertise on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram. Their website is also very good and updated because it’s simple, fast and eloquent with all the right filters, free returns, student discount online and with only £3.95 for standard delivery. When also subscribing to their newsletter, you will receive discounts, catalogues and new arrivals all for free by mail and email.
With my own business, I would have 15% off with my student discount for any full priced item in my store. My business will be online only, therefore I would acquire the payment method called “Klarna” whereas you buy the product but we do not take the money yet but the item is sent to the customer to try on and decide whether they like it and they have 20 days to return the item, and this will be for free. I will also have a reward card for customers online and have exclusive seasonal offers for members every now and then. Delivery will be for £1.99 standard but I will have an offer where you can pay £9.00 for 2 months of free next day delivery.

Reflection For Research
During my research I found women’s daywear to be my most fitting interest and suitable business avenue because I like the more simple and classy fashion companies and I wanted to my brand to be subtle but also different and uncommon to most daywear clothes in companies. I also preferred women’s daywear because there is a wide variety of styles, fabrics and silhouettes that I can explore within this area and I prefer more simpler looks and designs than clothes that are too casual or too loud. The footwear was also very interesting because I really loved the leather and different fabrics used to produce such amazing footwear such as the Stella McCartney shoes and I picked this for one of my examples because I absolutely love the colours, platforms and oldern but classic feel to her designs. A brief outline of my business would be that I would want to sell very good fabrics that preferably don’t rip, don’t lose colour over time and have my clothes animal friendly, so strictly no silk or leather, and if I were to use leather, I would want vegan leather. I would also want my brand to be high street because I would prefer to make things to then sell to the public.

Jimmy Choo is a 21st century luxury accessories brand, with shoes at its heart, offering an empowered sense of glamour and a playfully daring spirit.
The brand traces its roots to a bespoke shoemaker named Jimmy Choo, based in the East End of London in the early 1990s, who catered to the global jet set, including Princess Diana. The Jimmy Choo company was founded in 1996, with Mr Choo’s niece, Sandra Choi, who had been heading up design in the East End atelier, coming on board as Creative Director, a position she holds to this day. Mr Choo departed the company in 2001.
The sexy cut, fashionable design, and exceptional Italian craftsmanship struck a chord with a sophisticated clientele, and the first collection enjoyed immediate success. With a goal of creating a global luxury business, Jimmy Choo attracted outside investment and the company embarked on a significant expansion across product categories, channels and geographies. The brand’s reputation as a celebrity favourite helped to fuel its rapid expansion. Its iconography was further defined by the bold and dramatic advertising portraying glamorous but strong women in towering heels and luxurious handbags, captured by photographers such as Mario Testino, Inez and Vinoodh, Peter Lindbergh and Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson.
This brands target market could go from ages 23-40 and the product pricing starts at £250 - £3,000 for one pair of shoes and that is what i definitely called High End Fashion.
