Being a male Little can often times be really annoying as it feels like I am so invisible in ddlg and mdlb communities. I feel like whenever I enter a community that is focused around Mommies, there is not the same level of positive attention aimed at the male subs then there is at the female subs in a ddlg community. I understand why this happens due to the fact that there are a lot of bad male subs who are thirsty. However, I feel like a lot of the reason why there are so many male subs and Littles who are bad is due to the fact that in many ways, it often feels as though male subs are looked down upon or invalidated a lot of the time. So much focus is put on the female and feminine aspects of submissives that many people tend to outright ignore the aspects of being submissive that could pertain to guys. An example of this is that there are a lot more cute and easily accessible things for girls who are Littles and/or subs, but there is a significantly smaller pool to choose from for the guys. Not only this, but a lot of the media and representation of the DD/md - lg/lb community focuses on the ddlg side of it due to the sheer amount of Daddies and female Littles. It can be hard being a submissive male Little a lot of the time because it feels as though you are held to a different standard by the people around you and are never able to explore these aspects of yourself in a healthy way with others most of the time. Sorry for going on a rant, I just feel like male subs don't get a lot of validation or attention in a lot of communities and I want to figure out a way that we can have our voices heard and find a way that we can explore our submissive and little spaces in a healthy way.
