Actually, i have a question. What gave you the idea to create a fan game like HetaOni? are there any inspirations that got you here?

I'm not the original creator of HetaOni. HetaOni was created by Tomoyoshi many years ago and you can find the original playthrough on Youtube!

In case you're wondering why I picked it up and gave it my own ending: in 2016 I suffered an accident where I broke my ankle, got surgery and was bedridden for half a year. I had always wanted to learn how to work on RPG Maker and HetaOni was everything to me, so I (after getting permission from Tomoyoshi) started recreating the game while learning how to use RPG maker for the first time. Thats why the first version was full of glitches and bugs - i had almost no one to help beta test it for me and worked on it almost entirely on my own.

The ending, as I have also mentioned before, was made in a panicked rush because I had no idea what to do for it and, at the same time, didn't want to leave it discontinued.

At the moment, I am (slowly) recreating my version of HetaOni and have no idea how it'll turn out. I'll do my best though!

Yes I have, I actually heard of it years ago but I never told anyone about it because, as far as I remember, it was supposed to be kept secret. Only now I looked it up on tumblr and saw it's all out there now lol. I didnt re-read it but i hope that whoever shared it had permission to do so.

Hello! Me and my partner are also working on a hetagame (DNDTalia (to be announced outside of friend circles) ) and I’m doing the programming on RPGmaker MV, if you don’t mind me asking, what are the aspect ratios of your sprites and facesets?

I just can’t seem to figure out what they are😭😭

Hey! I don't remember exactly, but you should totally buy Game Character Hub cuz it makes customizing sprites and facesets a lot easier!

Hello everyone! It's been a while and I figured I owe you all an update.

I haven't touched the game since the first semester. Since the second semester started, I've had a lot of irl stuff to deal with and consequently very little time to work on the game.

I will have to spend a little time away from work in the near future, as my family's house is being sold and I'll get a new place for myself. Life is so hectic atm, but once i settle down ill try to find some time to work on the game again. I just want to make sure you all know that this project is still on, and that I haven't given up on it yet.

Hii! First of all, I'm really enjoying the game and thank you for continuing the story. I'm currently stuck in the scene where Italy locks up the other nations in the cell, right after saying goodbye ("If I come back...), it seems like the game freezes and I can't open the game menu or do something else. Btw, the music keeps playing :( I saved another file, reopened the game, restarted my computer but nothing. Could you help me, please? :c

Hi! So, this is an issue that happened a lot with many people. If I recall correctly, you have to wait until all the other nations stop moving before continuing the dialogue. It usually happens because Germany gets stuck on top of the cell tile, which makes it impossible for the game to move on because the cell tile renders the character unmovable and I didn't check the "skip if cannot move" option when I coded that scene :') hope that makes sense and helps you get through that scene!

As I've mentioned, I went on a hiatus both because of hate comments that unfortunately hurt me (and almost made me drop the whole remake project), and because of personal/financial reasons.

As of now, I'm very close to continue working on the game, and as much as I'm really excited to do so, I first need to pay off the bills I made when I was doing very poorly, mentally speaking. And, as most of you know, I'm also an artist and commissions are my only source of income.
