When doing a BUBBLEHE postpartum assessment, you want to be sure to assess the patients legs but do not ask them to planter flex their feet as this may dislodge any clot they may have. Feel the legs for swelling, redness, and warmth. Change the "H" in BUBBLEHE from homans sign to hemorrhoids!
