the recent trends of women completely self-infantilizing and bringing back gender perscriptivism is obviously really really shitty and annoying but i do wish people also recognized that the same thing is happening with neurodiverse pathology where people are locking themselves into definitionally-widening identities in which they can have a claim to not learn skills to adapt to the world. i'm not talking about severe developmental disorders obviously but people seem to have stopped understanding socializing and certain intellectual activities as a skill that you do have to pay attention to and work at

i really think people should learn to distinguish between what should be considered morally outrageous vs just kind of a dick move. i don't think people selling generic ai art at whatever venue deserves some grand gesture of anger i think it's just like. yeah that kinda sucks. there's general etiquette and consideration that should be followed in some situations. i think this is really all that's necessary/productive in most cases
