would either mod friend make pokemon teams for their fav non-pokemon character?

This may come as a surprise to all of you, but I'm actually a huge freaking weeb, and as thus, I'm picking Tamamo No Mae from the Fate series, as she's a character I feel like I'm intimately familiar with.

Tamamo No Mae is notorious for being a scheming, deceitful character. She has no qualms about stepping over others or using a fake personality to get reach her goals. Because of this, Mod Jasmine and I worked together to form a team of Pokémon that represents her deceivingly cute looks, as well as some that represent the magical elements she uses in battle.

Bronzor was the easiest choice. It looks and behaves very similarly to the mirror that Tamamo uses in battle.

Zoroark, because of his deceiving nature and dark typing, which aligns perfectly with Tamamo's evil alignment.

Weavile because of dark and ice typing, as some of Tamamo's elemental attacks include ice.

Vulpix for the same reason of fire elemental attacks, but also because it's based on a kitsune that doesnt have its 9 tails yet, just like Tamamo. Besides, we felt like it was a good representation of Tamamo's cuter side.

And finally, Alolan Meowth, as just like Tamamo, it's a dark type animal-looking fella whose smug aura mocks me.

I am also a huge freaking weeb, and I'm picking Medea, also from Fate! I love the girl, so much that I ended up reading the play that inspired the character in Fate (Medea, by Euripides), and ended up loving that too.

Medea is the Greek sorceress who adventured with the Argonauts, eventually ending with an isolated life and a cheating husband who she enacted a terrible (read: super cool) revenge upon. We have witchy Pokemon, Pokemon that relate to her characteristics in Fate, and Pokemon that relate to her story!

Delphox was an easy choice, being a pretty witchy friend. Mawile is also a Pokemon that really just has a similar vibe- a cute, badass girl.

Druddigon and Banette are references to Fate. Druddigon was inspired by the familiars that Medea summons in Fate/Stay Night, skeletons made from dragon bones. Banette was inspired by Medea's hidden love for figures and dolls in Fate/Grand Order and Carnival Phantasm, but also adds to the spookiness and witchiness.

Vileplume and Pyroar are references to the play by Euripides. In the story, Medea kills the woman that her husband had his affair with by sending her a beautiful robe and tiara that were both viciously poisoned, so I wanted a pretty poison Pokemon- thus, Vileplume! Pyroar is inspired by the final scene. He was the closest I could get to the chariot in the sky that Medea stood on, gifted to her by her grandfather, the god of the sun, while holding the corpses of her two children and talking to her husband for the last time, totally showing him up before leaving forever, GOD she's SO cool.
