Glad I found a reblog of this post since the original poster has deleted their account, so without the reblogs this post would have been lost!
Me and the original poster had a really interesting conversation in the comments of this post of mine about an article which states that Liam's white star-shaped tambourine got stolen at a gig at The Island in Ilford.
But because they have meanwhile deleted their account, their comments are unfortunately not visible anymore. Too bad I didn't screenshot the comments, but there was no way of predicting they would delete their blog.
For history reasons I will try to summarize what they told me in the comments. This is a MUST READ for everyone who wants to know what happened to Liam's white star-shaped tambourine:
OP (the person who owns the tambourine now) told me that this guy who was working backstage at Glastonbury (his name is on the backstage pass displayed above) took Liam's star tambourine after the gig and gave it to his son. That son played with it until his mother had enough of the noise the tambourine was making and subsequently it got taken away from him and locked in a box in their basement or some other kind of storage room for decades.
A few years ago OP found the tambourine in a listing of things being sold by the grandson of the guy who worked backstage at Glastonbury and took Liam's tambourine. OP didn't tell me where exactly they found that listing (if it was advertised online or somewhere else), but they told me in which exact city the tambourine was located (unfortunately I forgot which city) and that they drove there to check it out since it wasn't too far away from them.
So when OP arrived at that place, they bought Liam's iconic star-shaped tambourine along with the Glastonbury backstage pass that belonged to the man who originally took the tambourine away from Liam.
OP also told me that they've done their research on Liam's star tambourine and got to the point where they found the Facebook account of the girl who took the tambourine back then at the Ilford gig I mentioned earlier.
She told OP that she actually didn't keep the tambourine as she got in big trouble with the security staff that demanded she has to give it back, so she threw it back on stage. The journalist who wrote the review must have missed this and that's why this article states the tambourine got stolen there when in fact the girl returned it. So that's why Liam still has the tambourine at Glastonbury which happened after the Ilford gig.
OP also told me that they saw Oasis live at the 100 Club in London in 1994 (must have been this gig, Liam is also pictured with his star tambourine there). OP said how awesome this gig was and how amazing it was to watch Liam play his star-shaped tambourine there, so yes – they got to see Liam live in action with that iconic tambourine.
I told OP how amazing it is that they own this piece of history, but also said that they should give it back to Liam. I mean after all it got stolen from him and there must be sentimental value attached to it. And wouldn't it be amazing if Liam plays his original tambourine at the reunion gigs? I think OP is very open to returning it to Liam, at least they said they reached out via social media. But it's not surprising that they wouldn't get a reply on social media considering how many messages Liam gets there. I suggested to OP that they should write a formal email to Liam's management, but no clue if they followed that advice as I haven't heard from them again and when I wanted to check out our conversation again, I noticed that their comments disappeared along with all their posts as they deleted their blog.

Just for context: This is told by their mother Peggy Gallagher. The first chapter of the book is by Peggy and that's an extract from there. Peggy's chapter is also the part where we get the timeline and most info on how things went down with their father.
