Wow, so Liam says in this reply that Lock All The Doors is on the Definitely Maybe set list! Rehearsals haven't started yet, so he may change his mind about it, but just the fact that he's considering it is pretty exciting! Never thought we would get the early unreleased Oasis songs! Hope he considers bringing back Take Me, too!
One of the many instances where Noel created a false narrative to put the blame on other people and to make himself look better. Of all people he was really the one who gave a bad performance while Liam performed really well. I don't know why anyone would still believe anything Noel says about any of the controversial stories in Oasis history, he's a huge liar
It's too bad that Liam doesn't rate the song, it's a real banger. It would hit so hard if he would add it to his setlist, people would go mad for that. Take Me actually went viral on TikTok, Liam basically has a hit right there, all he needs to do is rerecord and release it.
I wonder if anyone at Warner Records ever talked to him about the song or if there's anyone who could make him realise that this is gold.
And I wonder what Bonehead thinks about it. I guess if anyone could convince Liam to give Take Me another go, it would be Bonehead. I mean isn't it wonderful how back in the day when Liam was only 18 years old, him and Bonehead created this song - it's the first Oasis song ever - and how these two are still with each other all these years later and could play the one song that started it all together again - that would be so poetic.
Just thought about how Liam wouldn't really gain all that much from an Oasis reunion if this reunion would only mean a few live shows. Sure, the hype and buzz would be off the charts and it would be like the biggest shows ever, but Liam on his own already generates a lot of buzz and sells out huge shows. He's already in the absolute Champions League of UK artists. Noel on the other hand could never generate this buzz and can't play huge shows on his own, so he would gain more from such a reunion as it would catapult him to the Champions League where he can only play as part of Oasis.
Liam can also just continue to do all the full album/anniversary shows on his own like he will do with Definitely Maybe this year and the masses will eat that up and love it, really no need for him to do it under the Oasis name when Liam Gallagher on his own is already a huge draw.
Liam is aware that there is a huge demand for Oasis and that it will make many people happy and he likes to make the fans happy, so that's why I can see him being willing to do it, but for him there would only be real benefits if such a reunion would be him and Noel on good terms. I mean why would Liam work with someone like Noel who would possibly talk trash and put him down when he can just continue to work with people who greatly appreciate him and his talents.
And don't get me wrong, I would love a reunion to happen - but it would be all about the emotional impact for me. I would just love the brothers to be back on good terms and be there for each other again. The live act itself - Liam can easily do that on his own.
Now it would be a different story if a reunion would also mean a new Oasis album with the classic and magic formula "Liam sung/Noel written". But yeah, such a collab would also only be good if the brothers were on good terms again.
