I love how when Armand is in love, truly in love, like he is with Daniel, he just becomes manic and feral. Stalking! (lovingly) he stalks him all across the world and is just there in the corner of Daniel's eye. Armand becomes obsessed with kitchen appliances and, because he doesn't feel like he'll be judged, does batshit wild things with them. Cooking rats and roaches and making weird blended concoctions based on color. Armand is like, "Daniel let's call Paris. The phone is fascinating. You are fascinating. Technology is fascinating. I'll pay, don't worry. Call Paris for me, pretty please." Like, is he insane? Yes. But at the same time after seeing his subdued approach to his perfectly manicured life with Louis, it'll be refreshing to see the gremlin completely out to play with Daniel.

idk if its in the show but its in the books and I think its funny. armand reads like an absolute freak. like he picks up books, flips through them and reads them in seconds. lestat describes being able to hear him reading from rooms away because this guy is ripping books off the self, flipping through them and then throwing them on the floor just to pick up another and do it again lmao other vampires don't read like that its just him. all vampires read fast but not like armand and they also think its odd lol

Thinking about the age gaps in Interview with the Vampire.

While Lestat was 12 and at the monastery, and Nicki was 3 and toddling around his parents drapery shop, Armand was 264 and boredly checking his nails or watching some poor mortal get eaten on his throne underground.

While Louis was busy being a 10 year old and dancing with his brother for his church, Lestat was 127 and either still long napping or discovering the secrets of vampirism via Marius. Meanwhile, Armand was 379 and stressing over his theater’s yearly budget reports.

While Madeleine was busy being born, Claudia was 15, a year into being turned, writing in her diary and still enjoying exploring the new world of blood and decadence she’d been introduced to.

When Daniel was busy being born, Armand was 445, Louis was 76, and they had been together for 8 years. Claudia and Madeleine had been dead, at 46 and 31 respectively, for only 4 years. Louis and Armand were still traveling and failing to forget.
