ok this has been bugging me for a while and i haven't seen anyone talk about it. so, some spoilers for undertale and pokemon scarlet/violet. (if you get upset over the spoilers, undertale has been out for about 10 years now and literally no one cares about s/v.)

ok so basically, you go down in this big ol' crater in the middle of spain and find sciencey stuff down there the thing i have heard literally no one talk about is how the main leitmotif of Area Zero sounds remarkably like the piano segment in the background of True Lab in Undertale! WHY ISN'T ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THIS IT'S DRIVING MY HYPERFIXATION BRAIN UP A WALL BECAUSE I WANT SOMEONE TO EVEN REMOTELY ACKNOWLEDGE IT SOMEONE PLEASE VALIDATE MY RAMBLINGS BY CONFIRMING IT'S NOT JUST ME SPIRALLING FOR SOME REASON (oh and also one of the tracks at the tail end of deltarune chapter 3 also uses the area zero leitmotif a little bit)

Powerscaling competition: Would Lord X be able to survive Hildibrand Helidor Maximillian Manderville? I'm leaning on the side of...

oh hell no. Because even if it is his world, Hildy has literally been suplexed from lethal heights and the only thing that gets messed up is his clothes. also Hildibrand breaks the laws of known reality to solve crimes in the most entertaining way possible. if you know both of these characters, Hildy wins any day. and entirely by accident because Godbert and Julyan show up, and there ain't NO WAY Lord X survives Julyan Manderville. oh also he can't trap Hildy because Hildibrand can easily outrun literally anything that X tries to do
