I basically just made this for fun/practice in case I ever get back into the swing of Making Up Guys sometime. Also the way I imagine Slurt Cats is usually compatible, but not 1:1, with canon*, and they tend to be predominantly monochrome, which isn't as fun to draw as a version with additional markings and accents would be. I could explain what's going on with some of the details better but I feel like a 100% complete ref would require a completely separate post (or set of posts) explaining scug biology for context. That would take a fair amount of time, and also I'm not absolutely certain on some of the details myself.... >.<

Another note: I actually like the idea of giving the scugs scars and injuries that significantly effect the design outside of canon ones! I just uh. Don't know what I want to do with this guy :U

*For an OC I'd probably include a more "canon-compliant" doodle or even sprite edit, but. This guy is my friend Slugcat Rain World. You know them

Shit man, this dinosaur war is fucked. I just saw a guy stomp his feet and say "end-Cretaceous extinction" or some similar shit, and every one around him was covered in blood, had all their bones broken, and collapsed into piles of carrion. The camera didn't even go onto him, that's how common shit like this is. My ass is casting prey restraint and level 2 feather display. I think I just heard "devil-horned face" two groups over.
