Had to shut off my ask box entirely because people can't seem to stop harassing me. It sucks to be in a position where people think it's normal and fine to be creating rape fantasies about me, re-uploading my privated stories wholesale to AO3, leaving nasty comments in others' comment sections and using my name to do it and more—but it's what is happening.

If I didn't reply to you, please know I genuinely appreciate all of the support you've sent my way. I'm probably deactivating this account at some point, but at the very least deleting the app off of my phone for awhile. I don't use Tumblr enough for it to be worth being harassed on yet another platform.

decidedly unfriendly reminder that fanfiction is written by real people with real feelings for free in their free time. it's a labour of love and something to cherish. if you come across a fic that you don't enjoy, that's totally fine, but it is your due diligence as a fellow fan and decent human being to click away. leaving mean comments, absurd rating systems or harassing writers in their inbox while hiding behind an anonymous icon is not an acceptable manner to behave in any fandom and online space ever. it's disgustingly entitled, wildly disrespectful and only serves to discourage people from sharing their writing in a community that is meant to be fun and supportive. the next time you read something you don't enjoy, stop reading it and move on with your day. read something you like and leave kudos and a nice comment there instead. have some common sense and don't be a fucking asshole. it's not that fucking difficult.

Hello, I'm being harassed.

I've been the target of a whisper network-based harassment campaign for the past few months, and in the past few days, it's escalated to relentless attacks on me, on my friends, and other fandom creatives.

Whoever is behind this is using my name in the comment section of peoples' fics and elsewhere to harass authors and spread rape fantasies about me. Sock puppet accounts claiming to be me are popping up left and right, joining in on the harassment. When I removed 55 works from AO3, they started re-posting them as wholesale plagiarism back to the archive (with a specifically vile twist: using the top!Stiles fics I wrote as a gift for a friend who ships Sterek to force stories I wrote into the archive under the top!Jacaerys tag.)

Please know that these comments, this vile behavior, is not from me. I have always stood behind peoples' right to write whatever they wish, and have always supported all dead dove: do not eat works in every form.

If you are receiving hate comments from someone commenting as 'cordeliacordate', it's not me. I am sorry that you're being dragged into this asinine harassment campaign, and I hope that it ends sooner rather than later with an IP ban from AO3, but until then, I'm sorry for anyone caught up in the crosshairs.

With the death of Lucerys, part of Jacaerys had died too. His little brother was gone and a hole had been left within.

A chasm, an emptiness that spiralled him down into darkness. The change had been gradual, noticed first by his closest friend. Cregan had seen how Jacaerys seemed...different. Broken, angry.

But by the time he noticed, it was too late...

Or was it? Could the young Velaryon be torn from the dark and returned to the light? Would Cregan need to fight tooth and nail to pull him back from the shadows?
