Costumes range from looking straight out of Moulin Rouge, Cabaret and Rocky Horror to Victorian undergarments

Pearls, faux fur, velvet, and feathers everywhere, polka dots, animal print, stripes, crinoline skirts, lace and ribbon

The jellicles are all performers, be it flappers, burlesque and ballet dancers, magicians, contortionists, pantomimes, and (opera) singers

Or they're in charge of the opera, like directors, ticket masters, and seamstresses

There are balconies on the walls of the stage, old velvet curtains, a giant clam prop (resembling the car trunk, a reference to Botticelli's 'the birth of venus'), a broken down grand piano that's missing a few keys but makes for a great place to lounge and slide on, a mosaic on the floor, music sheets scattered around, and of course a giant chandelier that hangs from the ceiling like the jellicle moon
