Friday, April 3rd: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma and I sincerely apologise to be still asking for help, but I still desperately need to get groceries and pay off my overdue bills.

As most of you are already aware, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefits being revoked, under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And due to my mental health and some unfortunate DWP mess-ups, my benefits have been on and off sanctions for over a year now.

And despite receiving the results of my medical assessment in February, which stated that I have a limited capability for work due to my persistent low mood and extreme fatigue, my benefits have been suspended without warning or reason. I appealed the decision and made a new claim a while ago. However, it is taking a few weeks to be processed, even longer now due to COVID-19 and quarantine restrictions.

I currently don’t have any finances to pay anything, and I’m quite literally on the verge of a breakdown, as I am drowning in red notices and final demands because the £128 monthly benefit I received, wasn’t enough to cover my rent and bills leaving me in heavy debt.

My goal at the moment, is £350 to help me get by and pay off my late bills, as well as helping me to get groceries, and it would really mean a lot to me if I could get some help. At least until my benefits are reinstated, hopefully sometime in April/May, but with the situation going on right now, that’s not guaranteed.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling right now.

Hello, Tangled the Series Fans!

   We are Project OBSIDIAN (PO), a group fan-project working on expanding Varian’s story. We are creating a Varian-centric fan comic to explore questions not addressed in the series, starting with season 1 and running until the end of season 3. Our plan is to take concepts and work with ideas that fit in-canon to explore his character to its fullest degree.      We will be breaking the project into episodes or chapters, each being a maximum of 24 pages in length as well as short 9 panel strips. Our primary mission of this project is to allow Tangled the Series fans to have a voice in this character and to have fun with helping him grow to his fullest potential!       OCs may be included as cameos, and AUs may be explored where applicable, whether that be through dreams, visions, or thoughts. Any ideas brought forth are reviewed by everyone on the project, and all feedback is appreciated!   Thank you for reading this far!  We look forward to working with you all in the future! Onward we ride!

Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngster’s was your sanctuary against the darkest times in your life. “Please, make yourself at home,” Charles had said when he had brought you to the school after finding you beat up in your old apartment. “I can assure you, no one will hurt you here.” So you had - you had a bedroom all on your own that you didn’t have to share with anyone, for the first time in your adult life. You could stretch out, cuddle the pillows, hog the blankets, and not have to worry about any repercussions. You had a dresser with clothes - not many, mind you, only what you had managed to salvage - that you could wear without criticism. You didn’t have to worry about being called frumpy, ugly, too sexy, too cute, you could wear a dress without your ex-boyfriend screaming, asking who you were dressing up for. You had your own bathroom where you only kept a bit of make up - absolutely no concealer since you had no need for covering up bruises anymore. You could take a long bath without your ex storming in and asking who you want to be so clean for. His insults never echoed off of these walls - it was a fresh start. A new beginning.
