i am going to add this to my pinned post later but this is    MY INTERPRETATION  OF THE CORINTHIAN   with a focus on the show .  this means that my portrayal will not be exactly or at all what neil gaiman intended as i haven’t really listened to him talk about the character nor have i read the comics.   i see the corinthian as someone made to be one thing ,    but feeling humanity and the freedoms of became another thing .

BOOK VI: AFTER THE FALL

the corinthian is  ,  a being that was  supposed to be made to be a mirror that feed off the horrible / vicious feelings that man   dreamt about .  yet he more so became  rage ( and in aspect dream’s own hidden rage )   and fastened himself to the waking world to show humans their own faults and how they were lesser than him .   his betrayal of his father ( dream )  was governed by the hurt he felt when his own father put him below these things that had no real power.    he was vicious and all of what he was bleeding on to humans ,   and opened their primal urges to kill just for killing .    and thus he was able to have his own form of worship out them .

the corinthian is the representation of thebills of society. the dark mirror with mouths as eyes because though he can see and see for time to come , a despot only sees with their mouths . the are driven by the small world their greed build with them and so they are called blind people with big voices . and so when people look at these eyes of the corinthian they are coming to see what they can become, terrfying things with no sight but mouths that are always hungry and wanting .
