Is it a safe place to say that I really do not like the fact that cube adopted teal ... <:C (this is going to be a long yapping rant session, forgive me for this) I'm a hypocrite because my oc is adopted by Cube, but there's a big difference between my characters adoption and Teal's adoption. Teal was only adopted because she came from the same tree as Cyan. That was literally it? And I really dislike the reason for it. NO OFFENSE It's complicated for me to explain, but I also don't like the way how Brittany rushed it and threw away Cube's insecurities like it never mattered and made him seem so sure out of no where that he can take care of Teal. Through out season 1, Cube was anxious and insecure about being a caretaker, and he's been through a lot of stress too. Not to mention, Cubic had also started this one quote: "With your bond with Cyan, I'll just get stronger." Episode 3, season 1

Correct me if im wrong, but my take is that Cubic was using this as a manipulative tactic to avoid Cube bonding with his hero. This is because if we remember what Iris and Pentellow said, the more he fights along and bonds with Cyan, the more stronger the two will get. And Cubic wanted to prevent that happening. So, in order to stop this, he used his manipulative tactic to make him think that the more he bonds with Cube = the more he gets stronger. This can also be the reason why Cyan's confidence was really lowered down, because Cube was afraid and still had that statement stuck through his head. Also, Cubic KNEW Cube was insecure ever since Dub took over, he even pointed that out in episode 3. Now imagining him caring another hero after that whole thing. It wouldn't make sense to me, because wouldn't he be very hesitant about it? Wouldn't the fear of bonding with another hero scare him to death? Also, this can add more pressure on him. Not only because he is a young 19 year old shape, but because he can find handling hard tasks stressful (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG). And right now, he's already struggling. This whole saving the world, being corrupted and caretaker crap had taken a toll on him, and he's literally YOUNG TOO. 19 YEARS OLD !!!!!!! He had even stated in episode 10 about how he was close to giving up, but refused to due to his love and care for Cyan. THAT is how much in pressure and stress he is in, give my poor father a break </3 "I have mixed feelings about it... In one hand it's so stressful that I want to give up..! And in another, it's kinda nice..." Episode 10, season 1 OH and also in episode 1 season 2, when Orange defeated Circubit and Cyanide ran away, Cyan tried to stop her but Orange stopped him, telling him that it confirms that she is not a hero and it was better for the good. Cube had even semi agreed(???) with Orange too, yes he did or may had changed his mind, but gjjjDFKLASJFLKASJLDKA sorry HELP "Orange's right Cyan..." Episode 1, season 2 I know it doesn't really matter much, but to me it really does. It does because Cube had seen Cyanide as a semi(?) ish threat after Orange's statement or before, and yeah sure he changed his mind but I just dont get why he'd still adopt Teal. (possibly because shes uncoprrupted now but GOD) If Brittany really wanted Cube to adopt Teal, there could've been so many ways to execute it. Time and patience exists, she could've wait a little bit more longer, maybe give Cube some developments here and there like him overcoming his fears for example, or someshape could've helped him overcome his fears and feel ready to adopt teal, or something could've happen to teal that Cube could relate or start to feel protective of her. There are many ideas that could've worked, but to give a simple reason of "oh teal came from the same tree as cyan let's give her to Cube !"??? NO???????????? This will put him through 10 times more stress, and I really refuse to believe that episode 5 part 1 s2 exist. I'm truly disappointed, not at Cube because I would never EVER be disappointed at him (it's literally impossible for me to be mad at him /gen), but I'm disappointed at Brittany. I wish Teal was given to Circusic, or at least Pyrare. Cube had already been through enough, and he really deserves a break. I'm truly sad and upset because Brittany had threw all of that away for Cube to be so casual out of no where adopting Teal. I can already tell Brittany is about to destroy Cube more, and I am NOT ready for this
