Personality:

Jean is…quite the character. It won’t take you long to learn about her particular brand of conspiratorial thinking. Difficult to follow, not necessarily malicious but probably still dangerous. Think— “Vaccines do cause autism and thats fine.” Her favorite conspiracies though, are the ones surrounding aliens. Her feelings on the matter fall somewhere between deep reverence and obsession. Her own family are strange, alien, to the humans on earth. She feels they would understand one another. She thinks that the secret machinations of the world shouldn’t be secret to someone like her. Her family are the elites after all, should she not be privy to the same information others in her station are merely born into? Jean lacks the paranoia of other conspiracy theorists, life is exciting not scary! She is especially un-suspicious of those in her immediate circle, she assumes if they knew something they wouldn’t keep it from her. Jean hates to feel like she’s being left out. Excluded. Though, she can’t really tell when she’s being messed with or if someone doesn’t want her around. If she can tell someone just isn’t tapped into her reality she won’t stop trying to chip away at you, she understands why someone would be hesitant to have their understanding of the world changed, but it’s important to not deny the truth. Her family members don’t tend to push back against her theories. Mostly because it would be of absolutely no use to do so. Sometimes, though, they begin to wonder. They’re mutant killer snowpeople. Why is it odd to believe in a man who’s also a moth? People enjoy her company a bit more than her sister and best friend, Jolyne. However, they’re in the similar boat of being deemed a bit insufferable. Which is how their collaboration began. She thinks what Jolyne does is very important. Her sister’s ideology—that some people can’t handle the truth—is one she understands the intention behind, but she’ll never feel as though it applies to her. I guess you could call her nosy. The little bit of power does get to her head, she’s not very into killing humans, but her wrist is quite loose when she’s holding her whip. Her aim isn’t great either, she’s topsy-turvy and this isn’t helped by her love of platform shoes she shares with her twin. Jean can get overzealous no matter what as long as she’s really engrossed in the activity. It’s less an innate evil within her and more a nature that can be misguided. She’s confident that she belongs, she just needs to find belonging in a healthier, calmer, less dangerous situation. She is working on it though! Jean has a self admitted struggle with patience that she hones by spending time with Jonah and Jolyne. She needs to be patient to capture Bigfoot.

She uses mirror pronouns, meaning that Jean is to be referred to by the same pronouns you would use for yourself. Hence why I always use she/her. 

The twins originally had a triplet who Jean absorbed in the womb resulting in her appearance and a condition.

Bio:

Pappy has complicated feelings about her inception and existence being an affront to the laws of nature. 

Though it wasn’t always this way. When she was a little kid, Pappy used to idolize pony culture and Princess Celestia. This was when she was spending most of her time with Discord. Pappy would look forward to each visit she had with Celestia.

Things turned for the worst, when Pappy started going to school with the ponies she thought so highly of. She was treated differently for how different she looked from the other foals. She started to feel isolated from her peers, and this crushed her.

Pappy then went through a rebellious phase where she embraced her chaotic side, and started causing problems on purpose. If ponies are going to treat her badly anyway, might as well give them a reason to. 

In the current day, Pappy is out of that phase with the help of her best friend, Andante. Though she still has this underlying feeling that she doesn’t exactly fit in anywhere. Most ponies don’t understand her, and there’s more hybrids in Equestria than ever but she still feels like an outsider with them. She’s spent the majority of her life working through these feelings. She’s glad that she has her friends to support her through it.

Pappy would like to be closer with her family, but she has a lot of built up resentment for causing the way she is. They’re all a happy and supportive family together, but she didn’t feel that way growing up.
