My name's Logan Carter. I'm 23. I just spent the last 5 years as a Navy Corpsman. Now, I'm just a volunteer at the hospital downtown and a resident at Lakeview. Room 203.

“I dunno.” She shrugged and lazily reached for his hand. “It’s more comfortable down here though”
Logan grasped her hand as she reached for his, not pulling her up just yet. “Miss, how much have you had to drink? Would you like me to carry you?”

“Oh am I?” She laughed and looked around her. “Huh looks like I am”
“Miss, here. Take my hand. Let’s get you to your apartment.” Logan said in a worried tone, his natural need to help coming out. His hand still stayed out for her to grab, wondering if he should just lift the small woman off te floor. “Can you get up?” He then asked her.

Madison gasps as he grabs her hands, pouting. “You’re cheating!”
“Cheating?” Logan repeated with a mock innocent voice, smirking down at the female. “How so?”

You do that, I’ll feel honored to know I inspired you to do so. [She grinned proudly, bending down to pet the one-eyed dog on the head.] Oh, that’s really nice. And also very sweet of you to volunteer at the hospital. [Chuck gave him a nod, smiling nicely.] Still, if something happens I could get sued, and they don’t deserve the stress or the reputation. So I just stick to taking them myself, or let my dad take them sometimes.
Logan shrugged his shoulders in a ‘no big deal’ type of way. “I just enjoy helping people, so I figured until I find something more permanent, y’know why not?” He explained with a small smile. “I understand that. I was just offering. Maybe I’l adopt a dog to be my running partner.”

“ ‘M okay…I can lay here a little while longer.” She giggled as she looked up at him.
Logan held a look of concern as he kept his eyes on the girl laying in the floor. “Are you sure, ma’am? You’re laying across the hallway.” He said down to her, keeping his couched position.

“I…..am a little drunk” Alex laughed from the floor as she looked up at the figure leaning over her.
“I see that.” Logan muttered down to the laughing drunk girl on the hallway floor. “Here, let me help you.” He bent over and held his hand out for her to grab, ready to lift the small female up.

“My sister and I did this all the time. I’ll win.” She smiled and covered her face, going under and splashing him.
Logan didn’t reply back to her, only smirking at the woman. In one movement, he moved in front of the woman and grabbed her hands to stop her splashing. “Who wins now?” He asked with a grin, holding her arms up slightly by her wrists.

“I’m sure you will and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you get lost around here, there’s a bunch of people that would help you out and point you in the right direction.” She said with a smile before taking her hand back and shoving it in the back pocket of her jeans. “It’s nice to meet you, too. What brought you to the city?”
“I can figure it out on my own; but, if I need help, I’ll ask for it. Thank you though.” Logan replied back to her with a smile, finding the brunette’s friendly presence a nice change to his previously all too serious company of the last 5 years. “I was actually born and raised here, so I came back home, I guess. I was in the Navy.” He answered, running a hand into his slightly wet hair.

“I don’t know. I could flail and hit you or something.” She took a deep breath and thought for a moment, not really knowing what she could even sing. “Um, okay. I don’t really have a favorite song.” She pushed her lips to the side. “Feeling my way through the darkness, blinded by the beat of heart. I can’t tell where the journey will end, but I know where to start. They tell me I’m too young to understand, they say I’m caught up in a dream. Well life will pass me by if I don’t open up my eyes, well that’s fine by me. So wake me up when it’s all over, when I’m wiser and I’m older. All this time I was finding myself and I didn’t know I was lost.”
“You wouldn’t hurt me.” Logan told her with a small chuckle, wondering why the brunette thought she would actually hurt him. His blue eyes kept their gaze on her face as she started to sing a familiar sounding song, his attention being focused on the soft, pretty tone of her voice. “Wow, you’re good.” He mumbled to her when she stopped.

“We’re a budy trio that’s for sure” Wren chuckled and rested his arms on the edge of the hottub. “That’s not a bad way to spend your time. I know someone lookin’ for someone to run shit over town if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ more permanent. I’m a mechanic.”
“Someone looking for what?” He asked, not following what the man was suggesting to him. “What kind of work is it?” Logan asked, considering the possiblity of having a more permanent job. Honestly, Logan could get a permanent job at the hospital if he wanted to.

“I would feel bad if I hurt you. That’s all.” She glanced down at his chest, then back up at him, biting her lips. “Um, sure. What would you want to hear?”
“You wouldn’t hurt me, Audrey. I’m a tough dude.” Logan stated to the petite woman, watching her eyes move over him and her teeth catching her lip. “Oh, it doesn’t matter. I don’t know. Sing your favorite song.”

“Oh no,” Anastasia said as she was pulled from her thoughts when she heard the voice. “I just came out to get some air. Think about things, did not think anyone would be swimming. But good to know about the pool.” She smiled at the man.
Logan gave the blonde a small smile. “Serous things?” He questioned her, drying his wet torso with the towel. “I’m Logan. You don’t sound like you’re from around here.” He pointed out, hearing the foreign accent the woman had.

“They’ve got rehearsal and soccer practice today. I don’ usually get home ‘til after they do but I got done early today and now I don’ got a clue what to do,” Wren admitted through a chuckle while he walked toward the hot tub and sunk down into the hot water. “So, whatcha’ doin’ now?”
“Wow, sound like busy people.” Logan muttered, thinking how much busier people were around Lakeview than him. He followed the man over to the hot tub, easing into the bubbling hot water. “Uh, you mean like job wise? I uh, volunteer at the hospital from time to time. What about you?”

“Just because you work out everyday doesn’t mean you can hold me up. I work out everyday too and I can’t even lift more than maybe 30 pounds. If that. I think I’m being nice to myself with that number.” She smiled and tilted her head up at him. “I guess you can say that. I would like to think that I can.”
“Come on, you really don’t think I can hold you up? I feel like I need to prove it now.” He muttered, removing the towel from around his neck and showing his bare chest again. “Sing something.” Logan smiled at her.
