My favorite part of this scene is a few paragraphs later:

“Student? Aren’t you a little old for school?” Frank shot back, noisily drinking from the coffee brought to him.

Omggggg this:

Jake Park’s gaze fell on the man sitting across from him.

In an attempt to be nice, he’d brought his new friend, for lack of a better word, an iced coffee from his favourite coffee shop. It was fancy and overpriced, but was one of the luxuries Jake allowed himself to partake in guilt free.

The man, Frank, was sitting with the straw shoved in his mouth, chewing on the plastic.

They hadn’t said more than ten words to one another in the past twenty minutes.

When he wasn’t destroying his teeth on the plastic, he was making noise with the ice cubes, almost like he was intentionally trying to piss him off.

Okay so I have recently gotten back into dbd so I’m writing for it

I already have a Danny fic in the works (I actually have chapter one written in just doing a once over and changing)

Because I love all the characters I will write for them all

I can also do character x character

This feels like a shot in the dark considering the dbd fandom on here is not active as much

Also I pretty much only right male x male because I’m gay gay gay homosexual gay for guys who can kill me

Frank is used to having the upper hand. He's a rogue, a leader, a cold-blooded murderer and he'll make damn sure that respect is put on his name. So when a smart-mouthed punk shows up demanding answers, all Frank wants to do is teach him a very sharp, very painful lesson.

Unfortunately for them both, Jake Park doesn't know when to give up.

“It doesn’t look like you’ll need stitches…” Pweeeease :))

As it turns out, human faces have a lot of blood in them.

Frank wasn’t a stranger to the sight of blood. He’d been in plenty of knock down drag out fights that left both him and his opponent in the nurse’s office or emergency room. Hell, he took to wearing red and black as his primary wardrobe colors just to hide some of the trouble he got into on a regular basis.

But there was something about looking in the bathroom mirror at his own face, one eye glued shut from a seemingly endless stream of the stuff over his left eyebrow, that nearly made him pass out.

He actually might have if his boyfriend hadn’t been there.

“Found it.” Jake stood up from where he’d been kneeling on the bathroom tile, digging through the catastrophe that was Frank’s linen closet. He kept meaning to organize it, but it never seemed quite urgent enough to bother. Not until he needed the first aid kit, anyway.

Jake set the kit down on the sink as Frank tried to apply pressure to the wound, watching him with his clear eye. Jake’s hands were calm and practiced as he took out what he needed: antiseptic wipes, neosporin, sterile gauze, some butterfly tape, and a pair of gloves.

The gloves went on first before Jake grabbed one of the wipes, turning to Frank. “Move your hand for me,” he said with a patience and confidence that Frank found himself lacking at the moment.

The antiseptic wipe stung as it cleared away the blood and god knows what else from the wound, and Frank sucked in a hiss in spite of himself.

Jake just smiled. This close, Frank could see the freckles scattered over his nose and cheeks like stars. “You’re doing great,” he said, soaking up the remaining blood with a piece of gauze. “The cut isn’t too deep. It doesn’t look like you’ll need stitches.”

It took all of Frank’s willpower to not furrow his brow at that. “You sure about that? It looked pretty bad.”

Looked was the operative term there. Frank couldn’t see his reflection past Jake’s face. Which was just as well, really. Jake was nicer to look at anyway.

“I’m sure,” Jake said, suppressing a laugh. “Face cuts always look worse than they actually are. Remind me to show you the pictures from the time I got a hook caught in my forehead my first time fishing.”

“Your forehead? How the fuck do you manage that?” Frank was doing his best not to make any facial expressions at all in order to make Jake’s job easier, but damn it was hard.

“Pure skill.” Jake was already getting into the butterfly tape by now.

Frank allowed himself a small smirk. He could see out of both eyes now, and could better focus on the man in front of him.

Whenever Jake was concentrating on something, whether he was tinkering with one of the appliances around the house or working out a plot detail in one of his stories or chipping away at one of his wood carving projects, he got this certain wrinkle in his nose. It was a small detail, barely noticeable most of the time, but Frank absolutely adored it.

Jake finally pulled away from his work, checking out the injury. “That should do it,” he said, taking the gloves off. “Try not to mess with it too much and you should be fine.”

Frank smiled and leaned in, giving Jake a quick kiss on his nose. “My hero.”
