I love how we as the audience don’t get to see Annerose’s response to Reinhard asking her if she was in love with Kircheis both because I think it is an interesting way to handle the narrative her autonomy (and how she has not had any choice in lovers so far in her life) and because I do believe that she wasn’t in love with Kircheis and the idea is almost entirely borne from sublimation of Reinhard’s own feelings for Kircheis and his sister marrying him being the way to add him to their family “legitimately” + some sort of also-sublimated psychosexual desire to give his sister a lover he could trust (because he views Kircheis as an extension of himself + trusts his morals more than he trusts his own)
#insane that the only version of the future is where they feel like they can be a functional family is one where Kircheis is there#or at least that is how I read Annerose retiring from public life and from being around Reinhard#I also think she thinks he is going to Get Worse without Kircheis around and her experience being abused by a powerful man for ten years#leaves her without the tools to call him on that#legend of the galactic heroes#lotgh#corvid rambles

oh i never know how to explain this properly but i looooooooooooooooove when a story just absolutely TELLS you something and it’s so obvious it goes right by you. like the equivalent of hiding in plain sight. i’m thinking in the original cut(?) of alien where they showed the full xenomorph, crouched and ready to pounce, but because we’ve never seen it before, we can’t tell what it is and interpret it as part of the spaceship. or it’s a detail that seems so out of place or wildly insane that you automatically ignore it and assume you misinterpreted until that exact detail comes back in a big way? (like when noah the raven boy flat out tells everyone he’s a ghost and they take it as a joke, so the reader does too) is there a tvtropes name for this i’m obsessed with it

Victoria the Warm & Nina the Wild

I really love the murals of the mistresses and I thought it could fit quite nicely on my black & white jacket
I’ll have to rearrange some of the other patches but I think the placing is pretty nice
