Our friends at Who What Wear have a few ideas about how this summer is going to look in the fashion world, and we have to agree with a few of the trends we’ve spotted thus far. At the S/S 17 shows, you we all noticed more and more fashion editors pulling an “Anna Wintour” & wearing sunglasses indoors more here than ever before. Well… we have to admit, after reviewing this bold rainbow of runway looks, we can’t really blame them!

Pink—and lots of it—played a very bold part of the Paris Fashion Week schedule, while the likes of Balenciaga, Céline and Valentino all employed the most shocking shades of this pretty hue for demure dresses. Without frills, prints or girlish detailing, the power of pink was clear to see.

Resolution Reality

So, you finally made it to 2017. That’s no small feat! We all had our low moments of 2016, but last year gave us plenty of time to plot our New Year Style so that we cold make THIS year better than the last. Today, we're breaking down our latest & greatest outfit ideas to best show off your latest resolutions.

Resolution Look #1

If your resolution this year was to aim for a better job (or just a new position all together), then it only makes sense to dress the part! Power suits have come a long way over the years, and there are still classic elements that you can incorporate to dominate the room and draw attention. This twist on the menswear suit is a perfect example. Dress like you already got the promotion! Walk with your head held high, and watch everything else fall in line!

For those of us who chose to work on personal health and fitness this year, 1st of all- congratulations. We've all been there, but not so many of us can say we stuck with it. To keep yourself accountable and excited about about this "athletic" new you, how about falling in love with a few trendy athleisure pieces that transition well from the gym to the grocery store? 6 Fashion Tips to Make Your First Date Awesome

Deciding what to wear for a first date can be a real dilemma. It may sound like a no brainer to some, but when you have to make a good first impression there’s additional pressure right there. At some point we’ve all been caught up in a wardrobe panic, especially if it’s a first date. 1. Makeup -Oh please don’t to much makeup!! Cat eyes are the best !! 2. Little White Dress -The Little White Dress is a wardrobe essential. Chic and feminine, the dress is perfect for a day time date. Pair it up flats a clutch for a sunny day, or go for ankle boots and a small cross body bag for a ‘ready for fall’ look. 3. High-Waisted Jeans -If you’re a jeans gal, go for a smart-casual look. Pair your favorite skinny jeans with a nice blouse. Nothing says effortless like light blue skinny jeans with a white blouse and a pair of nude heels. Pair it up with a nice clutch and finish with nice sunnies for a daytime look. If you are going to an evening meet up will require you to mix it up a bit with some statement jewellery such as rings or a necklace. For the evening either add a nice jacket, preferably a leather biker jacket. Or throw on a nice oversized jumper and compliment it with an oversized statement clutch. 4. Sweater Dress and Thigh High Boots -Thing high boots are back for fall and here to stay throughout the holiday season. Snug and comfortable, the sweater dresses is versatile. The best thing about the sweater dress is that it falls right into place, highlighting your curves without being too tight – sexy. 5. Little Black Dress !!! -The LBD can really be worn on any occasion. For instance if you’re not sure what the nature of the activity is, wear your LBD with a comfortable pair of ballerina flats. Kylie Jenner have started rocking white sneakers with their dresses. And why wouldn’t they?! It’s the perfect combination of style and comfort, this way you’re not overdoing the dress and you’re at least somewhat prepared to go trekking. 6. Maxi Skirt -This one is perfect for you if you’re a romantic. Go for nice pastels colours; gravitate towards off white, mink, Mint green or baby blue.
