Just FRIENDS (Until We're Not)
Summary: Meeting your girlfriend's dad for the first time doesn't go quite as planned
Sorta proofread, fluff, and slight angst if you squint
WC: 2.4k
Dani x Reader oneshot

Dani didn’t talk about her dad often, so you were so surprised when she asked you to go to Portland to visit him. Dani looked at you with a slightly annoyed look, waiting for your answer but it wasn’t because of you. She didn’t want to visit her dad, but if she had to, she’d like to have you with her so she’s not alone all day. You agreed since you loved going down to the Portland area and loved spending time with your girlfriend more.
The day of the trip, you noticed Dani was more on edge than she normally would’ve been. Dani didn’t say much when you got into her car and just pulled out of the driveway. It was quiet for most of the drive, other than her Spotify playing on the car stereo. From what you knew about the situation, Dani and her dad had a very strained relationship since she was 10 and her parents split; she had to visit her dad for about a week every summer. It was supposed to be more, but as she got older, she pushed back on visiting often. You tried to find out why she didn’t like her dad, but every time, she would give you a vague answer and then completely change the subject.
At one point during the drive, Dani pulled into a gas station to fill her car and get another energy drink, her third one of the trip. You got out of the car and followed her, carefully grabbing her hand, trying to gauge what kind of mood she was in as of now. Dani glanced down but didn't do anything. She opened the fridge and grabbed 3 energy drinks. You grabbed your favorite snack and followed her to the counter to pay. “And a lighter too.” Dani said as she grabbed her wallet to pay. She grabbed the stuff, and headed back out to her car to pay for her gas.
When you both got back into her car, you finally broke the silence. “Why’d you grab a lighter?” You asked her quietly. Your girlfriend didn’t normally keep lighters on her, and if she does have a lighter, it’s not hers; it was something left behind by her friends. Dani started the car, “My dad has me pick one up for him from the gas station when I get to Portland, so might as well get it done now.” You nodded, glancing at her free hand. You kept talking to her about anything that came to your mind. She would nod in agreement to show that she was listening or chime in with her opinion on something. Eventually, you tried to carefully approach the subject of her dad. “So… are you excited to go to Portland?” You discreetly asked, hoping she wouldn’t catch on. “Not really, but it’ll be nice to be there with someone instead of playing video games while my dad works.” She replied, looking at the road. “Oh, what does your dad do?” You asked carefully. “I don’t know, I think accounting for some big company.” She said, reaching for her open energy drink. You nodded, looking back at the road. “Okay… so why’d you invite me this time?” You asked, Dani had always tried to keep you out of her business with her dad, so what changed her mind this time? “I told him I was bringing a friend with me this visit, so it wouldn’t completely suck.”
You nodded slightly at those words, your heart aching slightly when Dani called you a friend. You two had been together for almost all of junior year, She introduced you to her mom as her girlfriend, all her friends knew you as her girlfriend, hell, you were on her snap stories more than she was and 90 percent of her camera roll was either pictures of you or pictures of her you took. So why was she calling you “a friend” to her dad? “Don’t worry about it, babe… we’re still gonna have fun while we’re there.” Dani said, reaching over to give your hand a slight squeeze. The conversation soon died again and you fell asleep.
You woke up when Dani’s car finally came to a stop. You were at her dad’s apartment complex, it wasn’t anything too fancy but it looked nice from the outside. Dani grabbed her phone and hesitantly called her dad to let him know that you had arrived. She looked nervous as she dialed his number. You saw that look on Dani’s face only a handful of times, you reached over to try and hold her hand to comfort her somewhat. You didn't know why she was so nervous, normally she acts annoyed whenever her dad gets brought up. You had tried to ask Dani’s mom in the past about why Dani and her dad didn’t get along.
“He’s not answering.” Dani said as she put her phone down. “Do you want to go up to his apartment and see if he’s home?” You asked her unbuckling your seatbelt. “Sure why not.” Dani said doing the same. You both got out of the car and walked up the 2 flights of stairs to her dad’s apartment. Dani knocked on the door and you heard a muffled sound thst sounded like someone talking. You stood behind Dani slightly as her dad answered the door. When you saw her dad, you were a little shocked. You were expecting someone more rough-looking, but her dad was in a button-up and a bowtie and looked like an accountant. “Danielle? When’d you get here? Why didn’t you call?” Her dad asked as he opened the door wider.“It’s Dani dad… no one’s called me Danielle since like 5th grade. And I did call but there was no answer.” She said standing in front of you a little more as her dad’s dog came out into the hallway. Hearing Dani being called Danielle felt weird, you obviously knew that’s what Dani’s short for, it wasn’t really a secret. But it sounded so soft and delicate… kinda the opposite of Dani. You knew her as the brash and tough hockey player, but Danielle made it sound like she took ballet and etiquette classes. “Oh right, sorry about that. It’s an old habit.” Dani nodded slightly. “When’d you get your eyebrow pierced? Does your mother know about it?” Her dad asked slightly concerned. “Yeah, Mom knows, she took me to get it done. She didn’t really care” You laughed slightly at Dani’s half lie. While Dani’s mom did take her to get it done, it was after she caught her trying to do it herself. Dani rolled her eyes slightly at your giggle as she walked into her dad’s apartment with you in tow. Dani introduced you to her dad. You nodded politely and shook his hand. “It’s so nice to meet you. I don’t meet Dani’s friends often.” He said as he shook your hand. You glanced over at Dani and she looked away. “Yea… me and Dani are really good friends….” You said as you sat across from Dani.
Dani showed you to her room and set the bags on the floor. You were spread out on her bed on your phone when she sat next to you. Her dad had left to go get dinner so it was just you two alone in the apartment. Dani laid on top of you, something she often did when she knew she was in the wrong about something with you. You glanced at her before going back to scrolling on instagram. You scratched where her undercut was without looking down from your phone. “He wouldn’t get it….” She mumbled into your shoulder. You hummed in response, setting your phone down. “What do you mean?” You asked shifting your attention over to her. She looked up at you “He wouldn’t get that we’re dating.” You stopped scratching her head for a minute and furrowed your brows. “He’s not homophobic, he just doesn’t know I’m lesbian.” She said as she laid her head on your shoulder. “That’s why I told him we’re friends. I don’t want you to be mad about it or think you’re not my girlfriend.” Dani mumbled. You went back to playing with her hair and sighed slightly. You two laid together for a while longer quietly. Dani heard the front door open and sat up to go help her dad get the table set before he could walk in on the scene between you two.
You and Dani sat across each other at the table. The air felt tense and heavy between the two of you, the conversation you had before dinner still weighed on your mind. “How was your drive girls?” Dani’s dad asked, breaking the silence. “It was long, but good. It’s a really nice drive.” Dani responded, not looking up from her food. You could tell she was thinking about the situation just as much as you were. Her dad kept asking about the drive, making sure that you were both safe and Dani would give short quick responses in return.
After dinner was done, you and Dani sat on the couch while her dad cleaned up. You laid your legs across her lap while she flipped through channels on the TV, eventually landing on some random game. You were scrolling on your phone, when you felt her move your legs off her. You looked at her slightly confused but she didn’t look at you. Her dad came over and sat in the chair near the couch and watched the game. You watched the game for a little but before getting up and going back to her room to get ready for bed.
It was around 11 when Dani came back to the room. You were laying on your stomach and didn’t notice when she came in until she laid on top of you. You let out a surprised squeak and tried to push her off of you. “Dani!” you said laughing still trying to get her off. “What? I’m not doing anything.” She said still laying on top of you and not moving.
Eventually she got off and laid next to you. “What do you want to watch?” Dani asked, grabbing her computer from off her nightstand. Dani opened up netflix on her computer and looked for something to watch. “We should watch The Notebook again.” You said laying your head on her shoulder. She made a gagging noise “Not again. You’ve watched that movie so many times you know every line from that movie.” “It's a classic.” You told her looking at her computer screen, trying to find something to watch. “It’s a sapfest, and you cry every single time.” You rolled your eyes and Dani put on what you guys were watching a few nights ago when you were over at her mom’s house for a movie night.
The next few days followed the same routine. You and Dani acted like friends when her dad was around and when he was at work, you two were able to act like you normally would.
On the 4th day of your visit, you and Dani were laying on the couch together when the front door opened. “Hey girls. I was able to get off early. Is there anything you want to go-” He stopped mid sentence. Obviously it was a little shocking seeing his daughter and her “friend” cuddling on the couch together. You and Dani both looked up and quickly separated. “I can explain.” Dani said, looking at the floor. She had a tight feeling in her chest, she could either lie her way out of it or tell the truth and get it over with. “Y/N isn’t my friend…. We’re dating… and have been for almost a year…” She said looking still looking at the floor. The silence afterwards was heavy and thick. You had never been in a more awkward situation before. Dani was tense, you reached over to hold her hand and traced shapes into the back of it trying to help her calm down. “Dani… I know…” Her dad said, breaking the silence. “What? You do?” she said looking up shocked. “Your mom mentioned it briefly when she was calling to remind me that you were bringing your ‘friend’ with you.” He said sitting on the chair near the couch. Dani was still processing that her dad knew and her mom was the one that told him. “And… you’re okay with it?” She asked. He nodded quietly looking between you and her. “You were never subtle about liking girls either… everytime we brought up you bringing home a boy you made a face and changed the subject.” You laughed quietly at that, you knew that face Dani made, she made it quite often when someone brought up something she didn’t like. “And you post her on your instagram a lot.” He added. Dani had forgotten that her dad follows her on instagram, one of the few ways her dad tried to stay in the loop with what is going on in her life. And of course you were one of the main reasons she even posted on instagram. Dani felt the weight lifted off her shoulders that her dad knew her little “secret”. “So is there anything else you want to tell me?” Her dad asked. You both shook your heads. Dani’s dad nodded and got up from the chair, leaving the two of you alone once again.
You both sat next to each other on the couch again. Dani let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding and looked at you with relief. You smiled at her sweetly. “Well that’s good…. Now we don’t have to be as careful.” Dani nodded “Yea…” You noticed that she still seemed tense about something. You reached over and rubbed her shoulder. “You okay?” You asked her quietly. She nodded slightly, “Yea, it’s just that I wasn’t expecting him to already know… I mean I thought it would go a little different.” You nodded slightly, understanding what she meant. You knew she wanted to tell her dad eventually, probably when she was in college. Dani laid her head in your lap. “I kinda thought this would go differently… I mean we can pass as friends right?” You played with her hair. “We skip class and hide in the bathroom to be alone together… that doesn't sound like something friends do.” Dani rolled her eyes. “Shut up.”
Eventually you both fell asleep on the couch tangled together. You two were finally at ease. Dani no longer had to worry about telling her father she was gay. She felt relieved that he accepted her and that she had an awesome girlfriend to be there with her.

A/N: First time writing a one-shot for Dani. I have stuff in the works for Val and Astrid that might be coming out soonish. Like always, feedback and advice are always welcome

The Space Between Us
Summary: When Val's best friend finally returns from college, she realizes something that she buried deep, deep down
Maybe Slight OOC, but hard to tell
Word Count: 2.4k
All gramtical errors have been ignored and nothing has been proofread other than a quick skim through

Val sat on her couch playing video games, occasionally checking her phone to see if any messages from you appeared. You were Val’s childhood best friend, you were a year older than Val and already in college, and currently driving from Portland back to San Francisco for winter break. Val hadn’t seen her since November for Thanksgiving break, which felt like forever ago. Val thought about the times when they would sit on the roof and talk about what they wanted out of life, and how after every hockey game they would go out and celebrate, or whenever she would score a goal she could hear you cheering the loudest. She thought about how warm you were when she would hug you, or how you could never stay awake during a movie, how your perfume clung onto her clothes for a few days and how sad she would get when it would finally disappear from the fabric, how your hair was always so soft and plush, and how you two would stay up late laughing about the silliest of things. But it’s not like she had a crush on you… right?
She snapped out of her daze when she heard her dog start barking followed by a familiar voice. “Honey! I’m home!” you jokingly called out as you stepped through her front door. Val got up and chuckled slightly, “Hey. How was your drive?” She asked as she walked over to greet you. “It was good, I drove for most of the night, and got to my parents house around 9 am after a few detours.” You said as you started to stand up after petting her dog. Val nodded and glanced at your bag on the floor, “I can take your bag so that way Bruno stays out of it.” she said before glancing at her dog rolled over on his back waiting for belly rubs. You nodded. “Yeah, I brought some stuff that isn’t good for him to get into.” Val bent down and picked up your bag, “You wanna go upstairs?” she asked as she slung the bag over her shoulder. You nodded and followed her up to her room.
Val sat next to you on the bed as you laid against her pillows. “How has school been?” She asked, finally breaking the silence. You sighed and looked away, “It’s been pretty good. The girls kinda suck though. I keep getting ghosted by the girls I meet but I’ve been talking to a girl I met at a cafe. Hopefully this one goes well.” Val’s heart clenched slightly at that, and she couldn’t figure out why. You always told Val about your relationships, there was Loud Chewer Amy, who she didn’t like because she was well… a loud chewer, Talks Too Much Hannah, who barely let you or her speak in a conversation, and Loud Amanda, who was too loud for Val’s liking. Val was always polite and nice to your girlfriends, but never thought any of them were good enough for you, and quietly celebrated every time you guys broke up, but that was a normal way to feel when your best friend didn’t date someone as perfect as she is. “Oh… well, I’m sure there’s someone out there for you.” She said putting on a sympathetic smile. You smiled and nodded. “Yea, I’m sure you're right Val, like you always are.” Val laughed slightly. “I really am aren’t I?” She joked to which you rolled your eyes. “How do you do it Val? How are you still single?” You asked sitting up. “What do you mean?” She asked, looking puzzled. “You know exactly what I mean. You’re smart, captain of the hockey team, kind, and pretty, Val. I’m sure you could have whoever you wanted.” You said with another eyeroll, not understanding how Val didn’t notice how many girls fawned over her. Val blushed slightly at that statement, she knew that girls liked her, but none of them were what she was looking for. She thought about the girls she rejected in the past; Sarah was really nice, but too shy for Val’s liking, she liked girls that could stand up for themselves when needed. Rachel was pretty but too egotistical, Catherine was nice but complained too much. Maybe Val was too picky about who she wanted to date, but that didn’t matter since she had her best friend to keep her company for right now. “I’m too busy for a relationship anyways, so it doesn’t really matter.” She lied. “Dude, if I had half the amount of girl’s interested in me, I could die happy.” You said with a slight chuckle.
Later that night you and Val were laying in her bed together watching an old movie on her TV when your phone buzzed. Val glanced over as you checked the notification and tried to see who was texting you so late. All she caught a glimpse of was the name Courtney. Val tried to recall you mentioning anyone named Courtney but her mind drew a blank. Was she your roommate? A friend you made in one of your classes? Someone new you were talking to? “Who’s that?” Val asked, knowing the question wouldn’t raise any suspicions since you guys always asked who the other was texting. “Some girl I met at a cafe a while ago, she wrote her number on a napkin and gave it to me while I was working on an assignment for art class. She seems really chill and I think we’re going to hang out once I get back to portland.” You said not looking up from your phone. Val got that feeling in her chest again. Why does she keep feeling like this everytime you bring up dating someone? You can date whoever you want, it’s not like you two are dating. “Oh, okay… that’s cool.” Val said quietly looking at the blanket you're both under. Val looked back at the movie and pretended to pay attention while her mind wandered once again. Val was trying to figure out why she felt so… weird when it came to you. She thought about all the moments you two had shared together. All the school dances when she was your “date” because you couldn’t get one, how you snuck her into your junior prom after your date cancelled on you last minute, all the times you did her hair because you were bored and wanted to practice on someone. All the hockey games you went to and how you two would always go out to celebrate together. And how she’d shove whatever negative feelings she had about any girl you dated because she didn’t think they were enough for you. Which is normal for friends so feel like right? Val’s thoughts were disrupted when she felt you cuddle closer to her slightly. She looked down at you and noticed you were falling asleep, so she turned off the movie and carefully moved you so you wouldn’t hurt your neck from sleeping in an awkward position.
Val’s mind started to wander again, she thought about every time she got jealous because you got a new girlfriend who she didn’t think was good enough for you, everytime she wanted to somehow be something else than just friends, how she comforted you every time a girl broke your heart and never wanted you to go through something like that again… Val finally realized that she had a crush on you, she wanted to be the girl you hugged and kissed and cuddled with every night. Val wanted to be your girlfriend, Now what?
Val woke up the next morning to the shower turning off, you shortly came out of the bathroom wearing one of her hoodies “Morning sleepyhead.” You said, your voice sounding like honey to Val. “Good morning.” She mumbled slightly, she yawned and stretched slightly before looking at you in her hoodie. She could feel her face heating up slightly, she cleared her throat and looked at your face. “How’d you sleep?” She asked, trying to get her mind off of how cute you looked. “Pretty good, I hope you don’t mind but I had to use your shampoo and conditioner this morning.” You said brushing out your hair. “No, not at all. Use whatever you want.” You sat back down on her bed and Val’s mind wandered once again to how much better you look in her hoodie than she did. Val was suddenly brought back to reality when you spoke up “It’s supposed to be pretty cold today, what do you want to do?” You asked her, looking at her with an inquisitive look trying to figure out what’s been going on with her lately. Val thought about it for a minute, “I’m fine with whatever, but I’m sure your parents eventually want to see you.” You laughed slightly, “They can wait. It’s not like my mom’s going to die if I decide to spend more time with you.” Val laughed slightly before finally getting out of bed. “I’m gonna get dressed then we can decide what we’re going to do.” She said as she grabbed a pair of sweats and an old wife beater before going into the bathroom to get dressed.
After hanging out playing video games, watching movies and baking for the entire day, you had to go back to your parents house. Val walked you out to your car and gave you a hug before you had to go. Val headed back into the house after you pulled out of the driveway and sat on the couch looking on her laptop for the perfect christmas gift for you. After browsing the internet for what felt like forever she found a heart shaped locket that would look so pretty on you. Val ordered the locket and thought about what to do with her feelings for you. If Val were to confess and you didn’t feel the same she’d be heartbroken, and your friendship wouldn’t feel the same again, but if she didn’t confess she would spend the rest of her life jealous of any future girlfriend of yours, and hate herself for never putting herself out there. Val thought long and hard weighing the pros and cons of each side. Finally Val decided to just tell you how she felt and just get it over with.
After days of writing Val finally got the perfect letter for you, along with the locket she got for you, there was no way this could go wrong. Now all she has to do is wait for Christmas when she’s going to give you everything. Val was startled out of her thoughts when you knocked on her bedroom door. Val got up forgetting to put the letter away and answered the door. “Hey Y/N. What are you doing here?” She asked letting you into her room. “I was bored, there’s only so long I can hear my grandmother talk about yarn.” You said sitting on her bed. Val laughed at that statement, she had met your grandmother plenty of times before and knew that she could talk about yarn for ages. “I’m gonna go grab us some drinks, I’ll be right back.” Val said as she started to go down stairs.
Once Val came back upstairs she saw you reading something…. She was about to ask you what you were reading when she suddenly realized that she didn’t put away the letter for you when you came over. Val was mortified to say the least. Before she could start to explain herself you looked up at her and smiled softly. “You really feel like that?” You asked quietly. “Uhm.. y-yea…. You’re genuinely one of the prettiest girls ive ever seen, and you’re always able to make me laugh no matter what, and you’re so kind and smart and…” Val started to ramble on before you cut her off. “Val…” You said and suddenly Val prepared herself for the worst. Of course you wouldn’t want to date the girl you’ve known since you were 5. “I’m so sorry, it was such a dumb idea, I knew I shouldn’t have said anything. I understand if you don’t want to talk to me for a while.” She started to ramble again when suddenly she was met with a soft kiss from you. She was surprised and pulled away. “W-what was that for…?” She asked looking down at you. “Took you long enough dummy…” You said with a slight smile. “Huh?” Val looked at you confused. “I was wondering when you’d confess, and I’m glad you finally did.” You said looking up at her and moved some of her hair out of her face. Val smiled and blushed slightly at the sudden touch. “So does that mean we’re girlfriends now?” She asked cautiously. You nodded and hugged her. “Yes… we’re girlfriends now…”
Val waited by the front door for you to come home for spring break, Val couldn’t wait to share the good news that she got a scholarship for hockey to Portland state, she’d be at the same school as her girlfriend once again. When Val heard your car pull into the driveway she immediately went outside to greet you, Bruno following right behind her. You stepped out of your car and immediately Val picked you up in a hug. You laughed and tried to get out of her grasp so you could grab your stuff from the back seat. “Hi baby.” Val said as she buried her face into your shoulder. You laughed slightly, “Hi Val.” You said running a hand through her hair. “I’ve got good news.” Val said as she put you down. You looked at your girlfriend slightly confused. “Yea? What is it?” “I got into Portland state.” She said smiling. “Val! That’s amazing!” you said as you went to hug her again, you finally get to be in the same state as your girlfriend, and could finally stop falling asleep on the phone together. That night as a celebration you went out to dinner, before heading back to her house and watching a movie for a bit. Val looked down at you laying your head in her lap before taking your hand into hers. “I’m so glad we’re dating.” She said quietly, rubbing her thumb against the back of your hand. “Me too…” You said about to fall asleep “I can’t wait to see you every day.” “I can’t wait either.” Val said as she looked down at you and started playing with your hair as she watched you fall asleep before finally falling asleep herself.

She grumbles about it while you do it but doesn’t make you stop
Surprisingly sweet and kinda vulnerable in private when no one else is around
You and her have a very teasing/ playful bullying (at least to you two) relationship
When Riley first saw the dynamic she got a little concerned on why Dani was being so mean to the girl she was dating
Dani had to explain that that’s just how the two of you are

She’s actually a really good cook and likes to cook for you
She loves old movies, and loves to watch them with you on movie nights when she gets to pick

She fosters kittens as well, pixel and marble were a bonded pair as well as a foster fail
Her parents are split and she lives with her mom in san francisco and visits her dad in portland for a few weeks every summer
she brought you one visit so she wouldn’t be as bored when her dad goes to work
her dad was a little surprised when Dani brought you and introduced you as her girlfriend
for some reason he didn’t think that his daughter was a lesbian (look at her and tell me she’s straight. i dare you)

A/N: This was really fun to write. Pls let me know if you liked it! Feedback is welcome!

Val Headcanons
Warnings: Brief mentions of Vomit/Sickness
This contains both romantic and general headcanons
Not proofread other than a brief skimming/whatever autocorrect has caught

She gets car sick easily, so when she goes out with her friends or you, she’s the one driving.
Unrelated but Dani isn’t allowed to drive with Val in the car after Val made her pull over and vomited on the side of the road
Enjoys horror movies occasionally
like she's definitely seen cult classics but doesn’t watch them often
No matter how you both fall asleep, she wakes up on top of you.
She doesn’t know how it happens, and it doesn't matter how you both sleep, she wakes up on top of you no matter what
She can’t stay up past 10 pm, maybe 11 pm on the weekends
Pulled 1 all-nighter in middle school with Dani and hated it bc she was so tired the next day
Her and Dani have probably been friends since at least 6th grade, maybe since elementary, but they were definitely friends throughout middle school
She doesn’t drink coffee often, and if she does it's probably yours, and she makes a grossed out face before handing it back
She probably drinks tea or energy drinks
Despite the fact that she doesn't drink coffee, she has your order memorized if you do drink it
Her favorite kind of energy drink is probably Alani or Celsius
She most likely has a few shelves in her fridge full of energy drinks
Date nights with her are probably really sweet
Like blanket forts and movie nights, drive in movies, picnics, star gazing (only on nights where she can stay up past 10), walks through the park, ect.
Takes care of you when your sick, like she doesn’t care how sick you are, she wants to help you feel better
Val hardly ever gets sick, like she probably got sick once freshman year, and hasn’t since then
Val watches old sitcoms occasionally in her freetime, and somehow gets you to watch them with her
She probably has a not so secret obsession with Spider-man
Like keychains, a few stickers, action figures, posters, a lot of comics, a few tee shirts, and has seen all the movies and keeps track of the different time lines in a google doc or something in her notes app
She gets really happy when you give her stuff, and even if it’s small trinkets
Probably not a big fan of stuffed animals, but if you give her one it sits on her bed and cuddles with it when you're not around
Brings you small trinkets that remind her of you, like flowers, small key chains, a small stuffed animal of your favorite animal
If youre an artist she probably likes to look through your sketchbook and loves when you draw her.
Definitely “accidentially” leaves her hoodie/jackets at your place that she just so happened to be sprayed with the cologne you tell her you like when ever she wears it
Loves physical touch and quality time
Always trying to tug you into her lap, or mindlessly draws shapes into your arms when youre sitting together
But she never wants to make you uncomfortable, and if you ask her to stop she would.
Your first kiss was probably really awkward but also kinda funny, and neither of you can bring it up without the other giggling about it
Remembers every small detail about you
Not only does she know your drink order, but also your favorite food, movies/tv shows, song, book, what perfume you wear, what brand of makeup you like (if you wear makeup), what time you wake up (so when she knows when to send her good morning texts), ect
She probably even knows about your cringy middle school phases
Speaking of cringy phases, she probably had an emo phase in that was like 6 months long in 6th grade, and Dani still bullies her for it
Sends you good morning and good night texts and gets sad when she misses a day

A/N: I had so much fun writing this, and I might start writing more. I really want to write one of these for Dani so I might do that soon. Pls let me know if you liked it! Feedback is welcome!

here me out… i’m debating doing this with astrid (and i mean like first movie/ROB astrid not rtte) or with dani bc i feel like it could work for either of them and i got this idea from listening to “meant to be” by bbno$. BUT- astrid/dani is in a “secret” relationship with reader, and when they get confronted over it, they just deny it and reader’s sorta had enough bc they want an actual relationship with astrid/dani.
and maybe a series… pls i just need to know if i should write this
