tomboyism is so funny to me. gender non-conformity for girls is acceptable for like two minutes between the ages of 8 and 10. beyond that it’s appalling and you’re a freak but for those two years…… they could’ve had it all
#The amount of comments I've seen on youtube going “I was a tomboy as a kid/teenager but now I'm super feminine!” as a gotcha is astonishing#Like. if that makes you happy then cool. But the idea that gender nonconformity is always a “phase” that you'll “grow out of” says A Lot

kinda messed up that people are more forgiving of Jax for his own coping strategy and not Ragatha for hers... like they're all trapped here together, they all have problems, and sometimes people clash over opposite coping methods.
Its not about taking sides, Pomni wants to be on good terms with everyone. She even brought up Kinger's wife, hoping it would be an opportunity for everyone to know more about him.
