My name is Ahmed, I’m 20 years old, and I’m from Gaza City. I used to dream of a peaceful life, completing my education, and getting a job, but the war has turned that dream into something impossible 💔😭. We lived through this massacre in every painful detail, and we are still in pain 😔. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in the north of Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Strip. After we fixed a small room in our destroyed house to live in and start over, unfortunately, the war returned, stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter and no source of income. We have exhausted all our savings during the war. I know that I started my campaign very late, but that’s because there is no other way to help my family 🙏. I am fully confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these difficult circumstances 😔.

I come from a lifeless neighborhood with no color other than the color of blood and destruction.

I was born in 1991.

I'm a girl from a family of seven boys and six girls, and I'm the youngest.

The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

Here, hell began for us in Gaza. I lost my job and became unemployed. My mother owns nothing, and I own nothing.

My mother was displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. It was months of longing for my mother and siblings.

My brothers Mahmoud and Ashraf stayed behind.

We were displaced several times because I live in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, a border area close to the army.

During the displacement on June 27, 2024, we left the house and raced along the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the lightning strike. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape...

Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers, the apple of my eye, Mahmoud and Ashraf. Mahmoud left no children. As for Ashraf, he left behind his sons who grieve, and my mother is in pain because they departed to God without a farewell, without a kiss on their foreheads, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house had been severely damaged by demolition and stones that had fallen from their places, which used to shelter us and protect us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out tarpaulins that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Reading the manga before i get it in person in a few days and had to get this interaction between Bede n ‘Nia (NOT A SHIP THEYRE COUSINS)

Bede in my AU has albinism so his eyes and skin are more red tinted + he’s partially blind (His Hatterene is a guide Pokémon)

Peonia is a gyaru in my AU as well (Or partakes in gyaru, i dont know how to say +. The new Bede storyline in Pokemon Masters is so good. Bede finally getting the chance to stand up to Rose and Oleana, it felt so GOOD man

I also really liked Bede saying he didn't care if Iron Valiant was from the future or was a machine or whatever, to him it was just a pokemon on his team, and would be treated exactly the same.

Honestly, Bede didn't even have to accept Rose's offer for a tournament (which was Rose's attempt to take Iron Valiant from Bede). But perhaps he still felt like he had something to prove, which has always been Bede's vulnerability. And maybe part of him still craved validation from that jerk Rose.

In the end of course, Bede proved himself once again (winning against Nemona and Scream Tail, no less. With an extreme type disadvantage. No small feat!) and got to keep Iron Valiant. The only aspect I kinda dislike on this storyline is Rose rocking up and praising Bede for his success-- of course the rich businessman is gonna say whatever he feels should be said to keep smooth relations with people, the praise is no doubt empty-- and Bede is like 'oh my gosh Rose finally validated me' to himself. Noooo Bede you don't need that asshole to say you did a good job. You KNOW your worth.

It is realistic though. He's made a lot of character growth in Pokemas but of course he's still going to be swayed a bit by the praise of a person he spent so long trying to seem valuable to.

And it does not take away from the fact he was strong enough to stand up to Rose to begin with for using him like a tool. Proud of you, Bede. You decide your own destiny.

While Bede didn't battle Rose in the storyline, we DO get to battle Rose in-game as part of the story event. It's vs Rose's Copperajah. And I believe this is why they chose to make Bede's new unit a Fighting unit-- so he could defeat Rose. It was deeply satisfying to kick Rose's ass with Bede. In Sword/Shield I wished Bede had joined us when we rushed the Macro Cosmos building and battled Rose. At least in Pokemon Masters, Bede finally gets the chance to confront Rose and kick his ass in battle.

Also quick shout-out to the supporting cast in this storyline, Florian, Wally and Nemona. Florian makes sense of course since he knows what Future Paradox Pokemon are (and his Miridion is designed to synergize with Future Paradox Pokemon on teams together) but Wally the local Gallade/Gardevoir expert made sense too. And continuing the thread of his interactions with Nemona was fun, especially now that I guess she's a fellow Fairy trainer and Sygna Suit Paradox owner. Look, their outfits kinda match

Nemona and Bede together is fun because the sunshine one with the grumpy cynical one is always a fun interaction, although I don't actually appreciate how hard they go with Nemona in some of their storylines w/ Bede in terms of getting him to battle. So hard that it seems like coercion. I think that mischaracterizes Nemona, who actually is pretty damn cautious about not pushing people if they're not into it. This is just a reflection on some of their past interactions in Pokemas, they didn't really do it in this current storyline though. They had Bede annoyed with Nemona's enthusiasum, of course-- which he would be, Bede gets annoyed easily-- but when he said 'no' she didn't push it.

Bede's Sync Pair Story was nice too, and him saying "like a moth to the flame" to me in particular was super amusing since my trainer is named Jaybug and is a bug-type specialist, haha

But yeah, I like the message that the future is not for us to know. That we live in the present and we should focus on the good we can do in the here and now. Instead of spending all our time worrying ourselves sick with all the possibilities. Should we try and leave the world a better place than how we found us? Yes, absoutely. But should we destroy ourselves in endless what-if scenarios? No.

All we can do is our best with the time we have here.

Also, look, his outfit is SO COOL. They look so great.
