Some older sibling!Zoey headcanons because I had this idea and I think it's cute

Zoey's parents are both divorced with multiple kids

She was the oldest person on either side of her family

Because her siblings lived in (most of the time) single-parent households (parents worked a lot and longer hours), she was responsible for looking after them a lot

She got used to being independent and moving around a lot (moving from house-to-house weekly)

Because of this, Zoey isn't used to being on the receiving end of affection

She was also blown away by attention and affection she got from the group when she joined, being often on the receiving end of hugs or gifts

In general she finds it an interesting shift as the maknae/youngest of the group coming from a background where she was usually the oldest person in a room (aside from adults)

The girls had a weird rhythm around their art. Zoey had notebooks filled to the brim with lyrics that swirled in her head, humming along softly every time something new came to her mind. Mira's phone was constantly full of videos, her trying new choreography and then watching it back again. Rumi had her voice, but Mira and Zoey both noticed the space on her bookshelf filled with sketchbooks.

Then, a few days after the idol awards, Rumi padded into the living room with a pencil behind her ear and her sketchbook in her hands. She looked nervous, but she sat down on the couch next to Mira anyway. Mira knew better than to ask questions, and decided to let the silence stretch.

As the time wore on, the only sounds were the scratching of pencil on paper and whatever random videos Mira was watching on her phone. After a while, Rumi silently handed her sketchbook to Mira. Inside was the most incredible work of art Mira had ever seen. It was a sketch of her, and Mira could instantly tell how Rumi felt about her. Every stroke of the pencil was purposeful, like Rumi was afraid to mess up even an inch of Mira.

A few days later, Rumi followed the same routine with Zoey. She'll deny it until she dies, but Zoey nearly broke down when she saw the art. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen (aside from her girls), and she begged Rumi to show them more. It took a while, but eventually Rumi let them see the other works.

BONUS

Zoey was doomscrolling on her phone one afternoon and saw that an old fan account for the Polytrix ship had posted again. She'd always like looking through those accounts, so she clicked on it. It took her all of three seconds to realize that the art style was the exact same as Rumi's. The scream she let out caused both Mira and Rumi to jump, and Bobby even managed to hear it from the lobby.

"RUMI IS THE MYSTERIOUS POLYTRIX SHIPPER??"

Rumi never lived it down.

Im not saying marry bc i think they should all end in marriage but i do think that Zoey would find a weird possessive, fetishistic (near exhibitionist) pleasure in showing the world that "THIS SEXY BITCH CHOSE ME!!
