saja boys dying is even more tragic whenever u think about how they could've helped Rumi be more accepting and in control of her demon side. like, imagine they become.. something, to her. kinda like big brothers, but also not really?? idk what to label them as bc their dynamic isn't familal, it's not romantic, but it's not strictly platonic either??? idk. secret 4th thing that comes with finding kinship in another one of your ostracized kind. just. just hear me out-

• Abby volunteering to spar with Rumi to help her figure out and hone the true extent of her physical strength when she doesn't hold back. Rumi ended up sending him through a wall one time and while she was horrified Abby just stood up hooting and hollerin like a dad who's team just won the game. "YEAHHH THAT WAS SICKKK LET'S GO GIRL YEAHHH"

• Rumi would turn to Mystery whenever her emotions got out of control and she needed someone to teach her how to stay calm, especially bc of how powerfully her voice affects the Honmoon. They would meditate together. Mystery would learn how to make tea for her and draw really shitty foam-drawings on top of it to make her laugh. He's the go-to if Rumi ever needs to vent abt demon stuff

• Romance would teach Rumi to value herself more, particularly teaching her how to rock the patterned look. He'd teach her how to properly maintain her claws and fangs- give her tips and tricks on which skin products are good for and don't irritate demon markings. I feel like he'd be the one to teach her illusion magic, too. "Beautiful, everyone loves a bad looking bitch with a good heart. Stop being held down by some silly lines, they accentuate your beauty, not take away from it."

• Perchance a hot take, but Baby would be the one to tell her straight out that she's not a monster for being born as she is. Yes, yes, Jinu did something similar, but Jinu is an overdramatic cunt who was going through his own stuff, too. If Baby ever caught Rumi spiraling about her own humanity he would shove his phone-camera in front of her face, "See this? Yeah. That's you, literally sobbing and crying like a human because you're scared of being a demon. Very demonic, very demure." He does not give a FUCK abt whatever convulted justification Rumi would use to hate herself. He'd cut through that bs so fast. He'd probably also punch Celine in the tit if he ever got the chance (he wouldn't like her. She reminds him of Gwi-ma.)

• Do I even need to say anything for Jinu. The headcanons are called "Kpop Demon Hunters- All Rumi & Jinu scenes". He makes her laugh, he empathizes with her, he doesn't understand shit, he infuriates her, she trusts him immediately, he would give her his soul. One night Rumi cried into Jinu's chest for hours because she swore she heard Gwi-ma's voice in her ear and Jinu didn't leave until he knew she was safe. They're a mess.
