So my first episode on Milo Murphy’s Law Season 2 aired today and it was snooooowwww! Wish I could show all the acting I did for this.  My little bros back home are my biggest inspirations when I storyboarded scenes with Milo and Zack :)

General tips; basically what can help you even if you draw in your style.

Not sure how much I can go in detail without getting to “draw right on model”. These rules seem to apply to most styles. Their hair can go flat, especially when wet, and can be blown around in the wind. Milo’s hair is not rock solid. He doesn’t gel up his hair in the morning, it’s just naturally like that X)

Zack’s hair is like a bunch of shark fins, plus the curves kids will draw on the sun in pictures (personal headcanon, Meli calls him Sunshine when he’s being grumpy because of this).

Meli’s hair is floofy, but not extremely floofy. Like, not curly, just really wavy.

Oh, tallest to shortest: Zack, Milo and Melissa. Milo’s cowlick doesn’t even reach the same height as Zack’s afro-style hair, but it does stand slightly taller than Meli’s hair.

Also important: They are very squishy. Squash, stretch, pull their cheeks. It’s not like the Prime Time shows that are very stiff, like Bob’s Burgers. It’s like Gravity Falls, even if you don’t notice it as much in the actual show. Model sheets of Mabel and Dipper are very squishy, like you can really imagine their cheeks settle when they shake their heads quickly. Milo and Zack in particular have a whole ton of expressions and angles that I use as references, and they’re all very squishy and stretchy. Even their eyes squish slightly. Zack has such a wide range of expressions in the show, he needs to have a squishy face.

Anyway, this is all I can really offer for now without showing you exactly how to draw on model. Experiment with these as references! I like to make one eye slightly bigger than the other, and I like to give Milo more cheeks because he’s such a squishy kid <3

I can't stand when people say that Milo Murphy's Law "ruined" Phineas and Ferb just because it happens to be in the same universe and had a crossover or two that changed some of the lore.

As if Phineas and Ferb wasn't built on inconsistencies!
