Why you should watch it…

First, I’ll give you a little low-down of the plot. Freshly broken up with her long-term boyfriend, a music journalist (Rodriguez) recruits her two besties (Snow and Wise) for one last outrageous adventure in New York City before she moves away to San Francisco to move on up in her career. Now we’ve got that covered, let’s move on to why you should watch it.

One word: relatable. No matter which situation you’ve been in, the dumpee, the dumper, the consoling best friend or the member of the group who is just crazy, there’ll be at least one of these characters who you can totally relate too. This film is definitely one to add to your #GirlfriendCollection because it’s like a breath of fresh air. Watching Someone Great is so refreshing because despite the twists and turns along the way there is always a positive… a silver lining.

Sometimes you have to be a little selfish and go after what you want in life. And, of course, that process is made a lot more difficult when you’re tied down in a relationship. Some people are fine with it, they are fine with compromising but by doing so, there’s the potential for those sacrifice-induced feelings to turn into resentment. Your 20’s and 30’s are for living wild and free.

Someone Great will become your new favourite because you’ll also fall in love with the cast. If you thought you recognised the main character, Gina Rodriguez, that’s because she’s the star in the telenovela Jane The Virgin. Which is also another amazing rom-com project and if you haven’t watched it, you really should.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the writer and director of this film is a genius. She’s handed us the perfect thing to watch for those evenings after a long day at work when all we’re after is cheering up and a belly full of laughter. Jennifer, you’re a star.

Meet Robin Eisenberg who is our favourite American illustrator and designer, based in Los Angeles creating some of the coolest stuff you’ll ever lay your eyes on. Having collaborated with brands such as Thrasher and Vans, this chick has built herself an incredible portfolio. Now creating patches and pins in addition to her iconic and massively unique artwork, she’s a businesswoman and today we’ll be sharing with you some of our favourite ever creations of hers!

Robin Eisenberg: Space Magic

Something you’ll notice about Robin Eisenberg’s art is that all of the characters she creates and designs are chilling in space. With eye-catching backgrounds of starry black skies and reflections of said skies on water and glass, her work is incredibly unique. The only fictional type of character that usually comes to mind when you think of people coming from space are aliens and whilst some of her subjects have that iconic green skin, they are so much more beautiful.

Who’d have thought that someone could create so much art based on a place they’ve never been to and experienced for themselves? Well, Robin Eisenberg’s imagination is clearly just something else and she’s one of the most talented artists we’ve ever come across. It’s no wonder that she’s racked up a following of half a million followers and it’s forever growing too.

As well as the iconic artwork Robin Eisenberg is becoming rather well-known for, to satisfy the needs of her beloved followers, she sells other creations too. As well as being able to purchase prints of her artwork to frame, she creates pins and patches too. It’s little things like this that can really customise that denim jacket you already love so much or that pair of jeans that would look cool with a little extra something.

Why not create your own pinboard full of trendy pins and become a collector? And you could do the same with patches too. There is no limit when it comes to being creative because as well as following trends and getting ideas from Pinterest you can do your own thing too.

Wearing this super femme piece we have @lemonandpeaches who looks incredible in this top from Motel Rocks. The gorgeous dusky baby pink hue in this silk fabric looks incredible. The Bardot shoulders and corset detailing give it a punk element too. We’re obsessed.

Serving a totally different vibe is @bo0giebrat who has paired an eccentric arty tee from Motel Rocks with a bright purple long sleeved top underneath. Here, she shows off one of the best things about the brand which is how diverse their designs are. With the ability to style them up or down however you like too.

Finally, @bethanmccoy wears their tribal black and white cropped tee with old school American leather-look trench coat and matching trousers. When it comes to fashion, there really are no boundaries. Poppy Deyes is a Brighton-based blogger who has been providing us with an endlessly amazing insta feed for quite a while now. However, she’s always spicing it up and her photography skills are just fab. Poppy, the older sister of internet sensation Alfie Deyes, continues to inspire her following of over 1.2 million.

Today we’re sharing with you some of our favourite looks we’ve seen Poppy in because her fashion sense is amazing. She has a real knack for pairing different colours and textures together to create uber sophisticated outfits.

What makes Poppy Deyes stand out from the rest of those contributing to the blogosphere is how creative she is.
