You know what, I would’ve been satisfied with just three seasons of Downton Abbey if that meant they didn’t kill Mathew off. It started with Mathew and Mary it would’ve made perfect sense to end the series with them having their heir and securing the lineage. Everyone else had decent progress over the seasons so I find their season three endings resolution-ary. Then if they were popular enough to have done the movies, season 4-6 could’ve made decent enough movie plots

That would be interesting. It doesn't really get noticed with 'only' six children by me but they do and maybe Heidi will follow in their footsteps. Would she choose E as a tribute to her mother?

Any word on your cat? Fingers crossed he’s okay and you find him!

I haven’t seen another cat looking like him come across the missing pet pages I’m a part of online. But, we went and searched the neighborhood and talked to some of the neighbors and one of the ladies swore the cat coming around was him when we showed her a copy of the posters we had made. It’s been bad weather here so I’m hoping he’s just been sheltering from the rain and may make an appearance now that it’s gotten nicer out. I haven’t given up hope. Though if it is him, he’s just been walking in a big circle for the past six months. Just why did he have to run away in an area unfamiliar to him. He’s fixed and he’s got his claws so he won’t be adding to the population and he’s had the ability to defend himself if it ever came to that. I keep hoping he’ll pop up on my balcony, I literally have an apartment around the corner from where he originally went missing but, nothing yet.

Re: The missing cat saga

It’s been…157(?) days since my baby Charlie ran away from the vet and even though I know it’s a long shot BUT, there have been two potential sightings around town in the last 24 hours. We drove to the neighborhood where he was posted about last night and a few of the neighbors did say they’ve been seeing an orange cat periodically the last few weeks. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but, my mom did agree that the cat in the pictures did kind of look like ours so, I’m not completely crazy…yet

I just googled him to see if they really made "in Christ" his middle name (bc that's 100% in the realm of possibility) and sad to report it's just "Christian". Close enough. To me, spiritually, it will always be "in Christ".

When we were watching the Rodrigues videos the other day (which I just remembered I have to make unprivate after editing), I kept thinking the same thing every time he was on screen lol like damn. They really looked at that baby and said "we'll call him New Man. and from this point forward, we will gel the 7 combined hairs between him and his brother in styles reminiscent of the silent movies".

Nuries baby names - she has used Nehemiah when another family member has the name. Susannas children also have N names; Noelle and Nash. I can't imagine her using them if they see Susannas kids regularly. I know the other cousin lives in an African country. Are there any other N names in the family? I think Jill has a niece called Natalie?

Fist off all, how did you get such a nice front? I haven't seen this on tumblr. But your question is a good one. Will Nurie and Nathan keep on using names from nephews and nieces? So far they have done that with Nehemiah but not with Newman or Naomi. So I think the others are safe. I do feel worried for any future children of Nurie and Nathan since they already have Newman, what else will they come up with?

And no, besides Noelle and Nash there are no other cousins with N-names. Mostly because both Anna as Priscilla are doing a letter theme with their children that doesn't involve the 'N'. Maybe David is doing an E theme so they might not provide an N cousin either in the future.

Let's exercise some caution before giving the Keilens too much credit for protecting the kids privacy. They're literally obligated by law to not post them on social media. Foster kids and kids still going through the adoption process can't be shared on public social media accounts. Michael has zero problems plastering her nieces and nephews all over social media so I have no doubt she would do the same with hers if she was able to.

I know. Like I said in my original comment, it seems like they’re following the rules and moving toward the right steps but, that could always be a facade for social media, obviously I don’t know them in real life. I just wanted to acknowledge that because in my experience fundies tend to follow the lines of “rules for thee, not for me” so it’s nice to see them seemingly following the rules (laws). Do I think strict fundamentalists should be allowed to be foster parents? No, not really. Do I hope those kids can go home to their family, absolutely. The bar is hell with fundies, if the kids have to be in this situation, acknowledging the bare minimum effort sometimes needs to be done in order to potentially keep that door open so that fundies keep educating themselves on that subject. Obviously Michael and Brandon don’t see this, they don’t care what I think but, I want to hope they continue to do “better” for the sake of the boys in their care.
