I really wanted more from sanvers like I get that the show is supergirl but still. I wantd Maggie kissing Alex behind the computers at the DEO after a long mission. I wanted Alex to bring Maggie donuts at the station ‘cause she’s a cop and she has to eat donuts.’ I wanted Maggie accedentyly grabbing Alex’s leather jacket and walking around with to long sleeves for the rest of the day. I just wanted so much more cause there just so dam cute.

Anyone who claims that femme lesbians are just “lesbians who dress like straight women” has obviously never met a femme lmao…there’s a specific power and distinctive visual intention behind performing femininity specifically for other women in the context of the femme label that cannot and will never be replicated by straight women and to imply that they share any similarities couldn’t be farther from the truth. To liken them to straight women erases the rich history and presentation of femme lesbians that has always existed directly parallel to the identity of butch lesbians and the existence of femme as an inherently gnc label.
