In an industry where trust and vulnerability play such a major role, it’s very frustrating to hear horror stories about artists taking advantage of their position and being inappropriate and abusive physically, verbally and psychologically. It’s very important to call them out but it’s also important to take care of everyone they’ve affected negatively. This is what this list is for: there are a lot of bad apples but there’s also a strong community who is working towards a safer environment and a more transparent relationship between the client and artist. We do NOT tolerate abuse of any kind and we will do our best to avoid them being part of the industry, but we’ll also work hard to repair the damage they’ve made.
