I have to thank Hirohiko Araki for giving me this beautiful mess of a man on a silver platter, via one of the best fights in all of JJBA. I only built up from the groundwork of one of the most complex and interesting minor antagonists he's ever written. Shoutout to my good friend PT for being my sole inspiration for writing out the perfect blend of traumatized and guilt-ridden hollow people who just stumble through each day, not live. Their work is mezmerizing.

TWELVE ( MEANING BEHIND YOUR URL ): It’s Axl described in the most literal sense, lol. I find it fascinating how cowardice is always viewed as a negative trait we despise, or are supposed to, but no one ever asks for the circumstances following such a trait. It tells an entire story to it, only taking the tiniest interest to explore it. Not sure if you can be considered a veteran if you do jack in a war, maybe surviving is qualifying enough? XD

If there were any pubs on this godforsaken earth where fights didn’t erupt, he was certain it’d be too fucking soon. He just needed some good beer, and this place was the only one in town that stocked something better than the commoner horse piss. He’d barely gotten his second glass down before some drunk haggard started shouting at the bartender about not serving him enough for his dollar. The tension in the room only got thicker and thicker as their traded insults escalated.

Huh, almost like alcohol and bad moods didn’t mix.

Hastily throwing his few coins on the counter and making an exit before he could get caught into was surely going to escalate into something ugly very soon, he make himself scarce and went outside. Only to get stopped immediately beyond the covered porch area. 

He knew they promised showers today, but no one said anything about downpours of biblical levels. Getting wet wasn’t a chore, his outfit kept him relatively dry where it mattered. But trudging all the way to his temporary living spaces through streets that more so resembled muddy rivers was not something he planned or felt like dealing with in the slightest.

Caught up in what to possibly do now, he didn't even notice the person sitting only a few feet to the right of him, also taking refuge from the deluge.

Rain, It always rained for Kyo when she decided to walk. Her hat took the brunt of the damp onslaught but the rest of her suffered greatly, her trademark starry tights practically filling her shoes with water. She stopped outside a bar, crouching a little as she waited beneath the heavy wooden eaves a welcoming porch for her brief respite from the weather. Though from inside she heard some less than savory language. An argument perhaps? She took her shoes off, emptying them of water. It wasn’t her business
