They are a sentient portal, yes? I assume that whatever stabilizes their portal would stabilize their being in the universe they travel to, I wouldn't be afraid unless they have caused other universes to collapse by simply being there. Have they?

*he seems surprised at first, but he kisses back as soon as the surprise is gone. His hand goes up to gently run through their hair, when they pull away they see that he's very red and smiling very brightly. His eyes look away as he speaks but his head stays where it is*

*At first he goes to respond but when they bring his hand to their lips he shuts his mouth instantly, turning a bit red at the affectionate action. The next thing they say doesn't exactly help the redness on his face either, the last part making it worse. He seems to have immediately forgotten that they were talking about him dying*

I like to think a big crowd of rats are just surrounding a general corner of the living room, passing a comically large bucket of popcorn around while watching the whole thing very, very intently

ooc/ honestly I think that's hilarious, just a giant group of rats watching these two try to figure out their relationship and occasionally yelling at them to kiss, I love that you guys are rats it's so funny
