Here we go - the final episode of Wolf 359! Episode 61 - our series finale - is now live! Visit the Season 4 page to listen to Brave New World!
Please be advised this episode of Wolf 359 contains violence and the use of firearms. Listener discretion is advised.
Our finale episode. Faced with a choice between finally going home and stopping Pryce and Cutter’s master plan, the crew of the Hephaestus heads towards their final confrontation with their enemies, their past selves, and each other. Plus, the Doug Eiffel Fastball Special, the lies we tell ourselves, another bad plan, cool stuff with robots, and one day more.
Tonight’s episode was written and directed by Gabriel Urbina, from a story by Gabriel Urbina and Sarah Shachat. This episode also features the voice of Alan Rodi.
But wait, there’s more! Visit the Wolf 359 Bandcamp for a few Christmas surprises! First of all, Volume 2 of the Wolf 359 Soundtrack! Featuring twenty-one new tracks hand-picked and remastered by Alan Rodi, our extraordinary series composer, it’s just the thing for some late-night, post-finale listening.
But wait, there’s more! After you’ve listened to the final episode, check out Making the Final Episode, a short audio documentary covering the behind-the-scenes for Brave New World. Step into the studio, and spend some time with the cast and the crew as they record one last adventure on board the Hephaestus.
Thank you all for all of the support, dedication, care, and love that you’ve given our little show over the past four years. Above all, thank you for listening, and for three and a half great years.
Thank You.

This is incredible! There’s a special place in my heart for perfect loops. The santa hat on Hera is a nice touch, too.

Here’s my secret santa gift to @cowpocalypse! Since you asked for just about every character I made a lil animation of a nice happy Hephaestus holiday party for you! Hope you like it!!
(I also have a non-animated version of it over here!)

Hello, yes the soundtrack vol. 1 is a thing. Here is a behind-the-scenes photo of my assistant and my assistant’s assistant (whose assistant was out with a cold that day and could not be present for the photo) hard at work during one of our sessions. Have a nice day, I appreciate you.

The Official Wolf 359 soundtrack, specifically remastered by the man, the myth, the legend, the otamatone whisperer himself, @cowpocalypse, is up on Bandcamp for your listening pleasure!
It often goes without saying, because if we started trying we just wouldn’t stop, but Alan’s music is absolutely, completely, 1001% what holds Wolf 359 together. It makes the show. We’re so, so excited for you all to have access to this soundtrack, because, apart from all the silly shenanigans it’s played under, Alan’s work is an artistic achievement all on its own. We hope you enjoy. Episode 57 will be out later tonight.

I would just like to appreciate for a moment this picture on the Wikipedia page for finger puppets. Also, yes, I impulse purchased finger puppets last year, convincing myself they may be fun tools to teach music to kindergartners and pre-k. And yes, in reality I have only used them to talk to fully grown adults.

The Music Department is hard at work.
Schedule for Upcoming WOLF 359 Episodes
Hey everyone! Now that we are back into the swing of production, we wanted to give you a list of the upcoming episode release dates for the rest of Season 3.
Episode 41 - MEMORIA: Wednesday October 19th.
Episode 42: Monday October 31st.
Episode 43: Monday November 14th.
Episode 44: Monday November 28th.
Episode 45: Monday December 12th.
Episode 46: Sunday December 25th.
Season 3 will conclude with Episode 46.
We are pushing the release date for Memoria from Monday to Wednesday of next week to give our post-production and music departments the appropriate time to finish work on that episode. Trust us - we’ll all be better off for having an additional two days to prepare for that juggernaut.
Thank you for your patience, and for listening to the show! We think you are going to really enjoy what’s left of Season 3!

Gender neutral love songs
I was just discussing with someone how lyrics can avoid alienating so many people just by being gender neutral (particularly love songs). I found a few relatively inactive playlists and tumblrs lying out there tackling this issue, but am now wondering if people know of artists (or songwriters) out there who make a point of avoiding gendered language or know of musicians who are covering popular music and taking out the gendered lyrics? Some tumblrs and playlists for thought.

Part two of our special update is now live!
Performed on December 19th, 2015, the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory in New York City, Deep Space Survival Procedure and Protocol was the first live performance of Wolf 359. Featuring all the principal cast members performing a never-before-heard script, this show was the culmination of the first two years of Wolf 359. We are - at long last - happy to make our recording of the show available for public consumption, in both video and audio-only formats!
Set just after the events of Episode 26, Deep Space Survival Procedure and Protocol covers one madcap day in the life of the Hephaestus crew. After dealing with plant monsters, the reappearance of a not-so-presumed-dead captain, and a supervirus that’s still chilling in his circulatory system, Communications Officer Doug Eiffel is about face his biggest challenge yet: a mysterious noise coming from the comms console. With the crew to question his abilities, will Eiffel be able to solve the mystery, keep his sanity, and get everyone else to cut him some slack? Plus, normal weird signals, voodoo pulled pork, all of the air bubbles, and the importance of chit-chat.
