Queer Headcanons for the Drew Crew

Happy Pride ya'll. Prepare for me to give you my queer headcanons for the Drew Crew.

Fun fact I actually did not come up with these, each of these characters told me when we went out for Drag Brunch this morning.

(Don't take these crazy serious guys this is just me having fun btw and also I trust y'all but pls no discourse about label definitions thx)

Nancy: the girl herself. Nancy is bi and I could really see her on the ace spectrum. I also swear this is not projecting this just makes the most sense to me loooool

Ned: gay or pan! I don't have much to say beyond that. He should know kissing men is an option.

George: Here me out. Okay so a lot of the community hc her as a lesbian, and while I enjoy that headcanon, as my friend points out a lot, the majority of this hc in the fandom is based off of stereotypes or rather being like "she's more masculine thus she's obviously a lesbian". Totally down for George being a lesbian or not (again, these are all just fun ideas I'm playing with) but I raise you this: George is on the aroace spectrum, and could be non-binary or genderfluid. That's what I personally see for George anyways. Honestly George could be anything and I'd be like "hell yeah".

Bess: HERE ME OUT she is sapphic. I don't know what brand but she ISSSSS I could see her rockin with the les or pan flag. She does all their makeup for pride and I think she really loves Trixie and Katya. :)

Joe: Trans bisexual man. I know some people have already had this hc and I love you for it. Mwah I'm kissing you on the lips

Frank: the token straight. :( JK I genuinely don't know what to do with you son I feel like he could be into men but also a bit on the ace spectrum. I'm handing out ace flags like candy and I shall continue.

One thing about younger Maddie is that I never used Nancy’s phone to look stuff up in the games I just kind of assumed the game expected me to know things like what ripe vegetables look like but now I’m playing Alex hill and I’m playing it like a gen z kid constantly with my in game phone out looking shit up

If you’re being questioned about a murder by one of those hobbyist detectives. it is an absolute rule that you have to be washing the dishes or pruning some plants while talking, so that when they finally get around to asking a pointed question about where you were at the time of the murder you can freeze for a second with a knife in your hand. It’s enrichment for them you gotta understand. They thrive off of red herrings, it’s their favorite treat, so even if you have a rock solid alibi and weren’t involved with the murder at all you have to give them some reason to be suspicious of you. It’s what friends are for.

Hello clue crew! It's one of my goals to go to all the places Nancy's been to in the series (which I'll probably fail at), so I made a bucketlist for me and my boyfriend, which we ordered from places we want to go to the most to the least. Thought I'd share!

Going back in time again to September/October 2002 when Scarlet Hand was coming out and to when the message boards were teal colored. DOG was on the verge of being released the following month in November.

Half meme half being real: it’s a red flag if ur partner doesn’t want to play Nancy Drew games with you/doesn’t let you talk about them/doesn’t watch you play them etc.

For me it showed me that my partner didn’t want to know or understand my interests/the things I’m passionate about. My hyperfixations (i.e. Nancy Drew, Pajama Sam, other video Games) are a really big part of who I am and to understand these hyperfixations or show interest in them is to understand and show interest in me.
