So mirrors are just like little portals that let you glimpse into another, virtual world?

Cuz I'm revising for physics rn and when you look into a mirror you don't see the reflected light from the object directly but the reflected-reflected light of the object which creates a virtual image of it in the mirror. But no matter from where you look into the mirror, the virtual image doesn't move, it appears to stand at a fixed point behind the mirror. (I really suck at explaining... (T^T) But you get what I mean?) So mirrors are basically windows to a world consisting of virtual images! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و

Anyways, that's a really cool insight to go to sleep with!
