stage 1: creation. doing your best to stay on topic according to the gimmick you assigned yourself to

stage 2: rise to fame. you are noticed. your inbox is bursting

stage 3: abandonment. you run out of things to say about your gimmick. you feel guilty about it

Why is there barely any C++ content on a C++ blog :(

Good question!! it's because the endless churn of capitalism leaves me unable to think productively after I leave work and thus I'm reduced to consuming and sharing comfort content (slop).

Stuff's improving and going to improve (hopefully) and as it does, I'll share more of my silly optimizations and coding quirks.

Since C++23 we have the print header as part of the standard library, which contains std::print() and std::println() and these are now the de facto way to do simple print statements.
