Dark cardiac arrest fiction story

Anton is 25. He's been smoking two packs a day for 10 years now. Everyday is a struggle for his black lungs. He is quickly out of breath after just handing some errands, or after climbing some stairs. Today he wakes up with a sharp pain in the chest. When he gets up, he is struggling to get oxygen. He rushes to the ER. Unfortunately, as his lungs are burning, gasping for air, he learns that he is not going to have priority in this crowded ER, because he is a smoker.

He thinks about all the years he hasn't lived, all the dreams he hasn't reached, while fighting for air. But his lungs are too weak. His heart is poorly keeping up, his arteries are blocked by years of tar and fat.

Eventually, his lungs give up, making him suffocate. The evil nurse continue to tell him "you wanted to die with smoking ? Here you are, no oxygen can enter your lungs anymore, you are suffering and will suffer until your last laboured breath. That's what smoking does to you".

Anton starts lifting his poor chest up as much as he can. But not a single bit of air go down in his lungs. His heart is in full tachycardia, before slowly beating, trying to survive. He presses his painful, burning chest. And then, he starts convulsing, gasping for air again and again. The evil nurse comes back, with a cigarette in her mouth. She inspires the smoke, open Anton mouth and expires in there , with all the smoke going down his exhausted lungs.

Eventually, it is too much for his organs to take. He takes what he doesn't know is his final breath. After 30 mins of fighting , he is declared dead after cardiac arrest.

The forensic examiner opens his body. He sees those black lungs that can't expand anymore. He tries to clean them from the black tar as much as he can. He then watches out for the heart. He opens the aorta and sees the worst. It is blocked by fat and tar, making a thick yellow liquid come out of it. He is surprised when he goes back with his eyes to the file paper, seeing the guy was only 25. He already had the organs of a 80 folk. What a pity, what a waste. Oh how he must have suffered.
