if you write smut about any of the hbo war guys, I just want you to know that I think what you’re doing is genuinely disgusting and disrespectful. like those were real men, with real lives, and real families that could very easily find the nsfw content you’ve put out on the internet.

like how would you feel if you found out someone wrote an nsfw x reader of your grandparent? or was making nsfw fanart of said grandparent? pretty grossed out, I’d imagine.

and I know some people like to use the excuse “It’s just the actor, not the real guy”, but you’re using the same names and mannerisms that the real person had, which is just as disturbing.

please think about what the hell you’re doing before you put it out on the internet. because not only is this stuff disrespectful, it’s just morally wrong.

i mean, think about it. you are writing smut about men who served in the military over seventy years ago, passed at least ten-twenty years ago, and were married for the majority of their lives and had children. and, once again, these children can very easily find these fics, and some already have. I’ve heard stories of the veteran’s children and grandchildren finding these nsfw fics, x reader fics, and ship fics, and reaching out to the author to ask them to take them down. and honestly, they had every right to do that. because literally everything about those fics is just plain disrespectful.

so, as I said before, think about what you’re doing before you post those fics and fanart. im tired of seeing this shit.
