Personal Reflection

Personal Reflection :

These past couple of months been a roller coaster. All the way from getting a new job, meeting new people, a break up, exploring the mountains, to a very sad ending of broke down. 

I started a new job in August working at the Texas Roadhouse in Evansville. I was quite a bit scared because I didn't know anybody around the area. Its also nerve racking starting over. I expected to meet new people but I never expected to get so close to these people and making new trustworthy friends. 

Then came the break up. Everyone in their life time will go through one and it hurts. But I'm glad I had the most supportive friends to help me along the way.

About a two weeks ago I had went to Gatlinburg to watch my dad and his newly wife get married. I've only been to Gatlinburg three times and we never had went to explore anything. When I had went to Gatlinburg this time, it wasn't what I had been used to. We hiked trails, came across waterfalls, and hiked the tallest peak of the tallest mountain there. Hiking and seeing all of the beauty sparked a new interest in me. When the time came, I had to finally go home. On the way home I had noticed some weird noises coming from my car. I was lucky enough my dad was nearby to check it. I had come to find out that something in my transmission was wrong. I was freaked out knowing I had to drive six hours on a messed up transmission, and driving by myself made it even worse. After a long and terrifying six hour drive home, my car had finally gave in. I was lucky enough to even make it home. 

This whole year has basically been a roller coaster for me and I hope 2021 brings the best of the best!!
