One of our favorite pumpkin beers — the Pumpkin Harvest Ale from @hmbbrewingco! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This one is an amber ale with locally grown (bay area) roasted sugar pie pumpkins and spices added. It’s a very nice balance between that amber base, the pumpkin flavor and the spices. North Park Brewing’s Chinopalito on tap at Blind Lady Ale House. A 3 of 4. A wet-hopped IPA that is pretty unique in its nose – some definite vegetal and some weird candy-like tropical notes that I simply can’t place. The body is nice and clean with a bitter finish, but the nose on this is pretty great, but a little weird, given I can’t place it.

Closing out Denver, Shelton Brothers International Beer Fest, tons of great breweries and we got onmeet up with some old friends and made a few new ones! Late night stop at TRVE Brewing, metal was blaring and the beer was outstanding! Thanks Denver!

ファーイーストブルーイング // Far Yeast Brewing Company Walking through Ueno Park, there was a festival happening and I saw a craft beer booth. Tried their Kagua Saison (馨和セゾン) and Saigon Passion (サイゴンパッション) passionfruit sour ale. Both were really good! And I learned that the company has a beer and bao restaurant in Shibuya, which is now on my list!
